Don't forget to tell everyone it's a secret - Gerald Lieberman
Welcome to a interesting Thursday 🌺
Breakfast.
Wakes up one son for school.
Dressed.
I gave out plenty of wet sloppy 💋💋
Out I go!
Plenty of cars stopping for me.
One woman in a yellow Nissan, thought about stopping, stopped, then carried on....
Plenty of waves people were giving me.
I was getting warm under the collar!
Finished in one piece.
Back home.
I had a satellite repair man to come round to look at our satellite dish.
There could be 3 things the problem.
He gave me 3 prices and went away.
The carpet fitter arrived at 1pm.
I gave him a much needed coffee before he started.
I told my son to offer the carpet fitter a drink while I was out!
I left early to get some petrol after I had my lunch.
Now for more fun to be had 🎈
I was stood in the middle of the road, when I heard a car speeding up the road behind me.
He soon had to stop when he saw me.
I turned round to cross back over the road, and pointed to the word "STOP" on my lollypop stick.
The man in the black 65 reg BMW just looked at me!
Had some more car drivers go under my lollypop stick!
At least I finished in one piece.
Chattered with my friend for 20 minutes after I finished.
Back home, and the carpet fitter is still fitting the carpet up the stairs.
Once the carpet fitter had finished, I thanked him for doing a very good job.
We had some oddments of carpet,
Which we use as rugs at a later date.
Tidied the house.
Even one of the kids got out Henry to hoover the new carpet.
Now to celebrate with Pork Balls!
The stuff to go to the tip is getting a bit bigger.
Hubby booked the Satellite repair man is came earlier is coming out on Saturday morning.
Quick read of today's newspaper.
Tab Hunter (born Arthur Andrew Kelm; later Gelien) was an American actor, singer, film
producer, and author. Known for his blond, clean-cut good looks, Hunter
appeared in more than 40 films and was a Hollywood heartthrob of the
1950s and 1960s. Hunter's film credits include Battle Cry (1955), The Girl He Left Behind (1956), Gunman's Walk (1958), and Damn Yankees (1958). Hunter also had a music career in the late 1950s; in 1957, he released a number one hit single "Young Love". Hunter's 2005 autobiography, Tab Hunter Confidential: The Making of a Movie Star, was a New York Times bestseller.
He died on this day aged 86 in 2018.
At least the Friday Feeling 🎈 is back tomorrow.
