I was once so poor I didn't know where my next husband was coming from - Mae West.
Welcome to my Hump of the Week 🐫
Breakfast.
Dressed.
I gives hubby a sloppy wet 💋 before he went to work.
I meanwhile left the house shortly after too.
I had a phone call, from the friend I have coffee with at Webbs, saying the Bromsgrove Highway is closed due to an accident.
I now have to figure another way to Webbs.
Picks up the newspaper & my neighbour's magazine on the way.
I gets off at a sliproad before I get stuck in the massive queue on the Highway.
I goes the old way I used to go to my old job.
Through the lovely countryside.
I finally get to Webbs and B3
My didn't cost mine on Saturday!
Now to have coffee, chat and nibble!
Off home I went.
I thought the highway might be open by now.
Big Mistake,it wasn't.
On the way through the back roads of Bromsgrove to get home, I was stuck behind a tractor with a trailer doing 20 m.p.h.
Some managed to overtake it, by the time it was my turn, the lines were against me.
I gets to a slip road of the Bromsgrove Highway it was still closed.
So I had to follow the tractor once more.
A convoy was slowly building up behind me.
An ambulance that was 4 cars behind me, put their blue lights on, so I stopped and let it through. The Tractor refused to let the ambulance through until the ambulance put on it's music (Sirens)THEN it stopped and let the ambulance through!
I took another short cut and didn't follow the tractor no more \o/
Finally got home after half an hour!
Swept the path, got some weeds up!
Tea at 3 was a bit late.
Hubby came back with tonight's tea.
He has a sloppy wet 😘 for his trouble!
Tea is served.
