It Has To Happen To Me!

Anything you buy will be in the sale next week - Erma Bombeck
Welcome to my Thursday Fun 👽
Nearly oversleeps....AAAhhhhh!
Quick warm hug.
Brew with breakfast.
Thermal vest goes on.
Dressed.
Hubby has day off as we have people coming in to check the boiler and all the plugs in the house.
I gives hubby a sloppy wet one 💋
It's freezing!
Good job I covered my car up!
The big big sunglasses come out again!

With 2 winter hats and gloves.
Puts on my light...
Now let's go to work...🍭
Now the fun starts!
A black BMW stops in the Keep Clear area, and I can't cross the kids over. I walk behind it and stop the traffic that way!
My boss comes, I give her, her card and present.
I tell her about the fun I have been having.
Especially the lorry not stopping last week and being called an arsehole the other week.
My job never gets boring!
I had a look of hate from one car driver who didn't like stopping for me! Then 5 minutes the same driver went past me again!
Still not looking happy!
I wished my boss a happy retirement.
Finished in one piece.
I nipped into the nearby Bakery for some treats for later.
Then I paid a visit into the nearby Co-op.
The fun I had in there....
I picked up a Sloth...
It's the first thing I tried to pay for.
The till wouldn't let me.
Even the man came over and it wouldn't let him either.
Goes over to the manned till to pay for it instead.
The Cashier coughed.
The customer asked if she is alright?
"I have had it since my Booster!" She replied.
"I was not feeling very well after mine either,"the customer replied.
"That's great, I am having mine on Saturday,"I replied.
"I better shut up then!" The customer said and walked off after paying for her goods.
I paid for my Sloth and went back to pay for my goods at the self-service till.
After scanning all my shopping.
My card was declined!
Puts the pin in on the second attempt!
Accepted!
Goes out to Sexy Beast.
Some has parked a bit close to my car!
I put the shopping in the passenger foot well.
I had to do a very deep breath, and put my door up against the car's wing mirror to get in!
Just put on my seat belt, and the car next to me, reverses out and leaves!
Gets to the shop to get my newspaper.
More fun in there, and it not even ten am!
While I am in the queue, two likely lads tries to push in, they have the look off me, and then they queue behind me. Then someone else tries to do the same, until I cough and he gets the hints to join the back of the queue.
The man in front wanted a litre bottle of Bells Whiskey.
They didn't have any, so he had two 70L bottles instead.
Gets back home finally!
Hubby says no one has came yet.
I puts on the Coffee machine.
The Plumber arrived.
Not in a very good mood.
It didn't help the Circuit board on the Boiler blew!
He had to go and get another one.
When he came back, he fitted it, tried the heating, but just looked at my gas cupboard.
He put down on the form we need a upgrade on the boiler as it is coming up to 16 years old next year!
The Job site wants me to chase up the cleaning job I applied for on Monday....
It is still being advertised, I haven't heard nothing, and probably won't!
I has a quick lunch.
Gives hubby a sloppy wet 💋 before I leaves.
On goes the winter hat and gloves.
One of my friends arrives early.
I gives him the nibbles to look over while I go and turn on my lights.
Both friends are there.
They have their nibbles, I am having mine, when I get home.
Low lying sun time.
The Christmas Market is on tomorrow.
I will have to come early in the afternoon, as it's going to be a pig for parking.
I say goodbye to everyone.
Now to start my shift.
I had some bad looks of some drivers as they didn't like stopping!
One Purple Nissan Qushqai went speeding under my stick, going about 60 m.p.h!
One car parked in the keep clear space, so I had to walk behind them to cross over kids and parents.
Then it was hometime for me!
On the way home, a truck pulled out and wasn't stopping!
I had to quickly swirve to avoid being hit.
I threw in a blast of the horn for free.
I must have seen it being driven off after being stolen, as the above picture was put on social media saying it had been stolen. It was involved in an accident later on in the evening. The driver did a runner after the accident.
(So I was lucky I didn't have an accident with it!)
More fun later on....
One van signalled wrongly around a traffic island, then was going 20 m.p.h, and signelled at the last minute turning left. Then stuck behind another car doing 20 m.p.h in a 40 m.p.h.
I had a DPD van stuck up my arse for the rest of my journey!
I was glad to get home!
Nice warm hug and kiss went I got home.
Plus a brew and nibble as well!
What a surprise the firm hired by the council to come check all the plugs in the house, didn't turn up! No phone call or nothing!
While I was attempting to write Wednesday's blog post, hubby was catching up with the Muppet show on Netflix.
Roger Moore was on one episode.
Time to put the tea in the oven.
We watched:
Agatha Christie: 100 Years of Poirot and Miss Marple
Tea is served.
Quick look into today's newspaper.
Ricardo  Montalbán   was a Mexican film and television actor. Montalbán's career spanned seven decades, during which he became known for performances in a variety of genres, from crime and drama to musicals and comedy. He portrayed Armando in the Planet of the Apes film series from the early 1970s, starring in both Escape from the Planet of the Apes (1971) and Conquest of the Planet of the Apes (1972). As the villain Khan Noonien Singh, a genetically enhanced human, he starred in both the original Star Trek television series (1967) and the film Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan (1982).
Montalbán played Mr. Roarke on the television series Fantasy Island (1977–1984). He won an Emmy Award for his role in the miniseries How the West Was Won (1978), and a Lifetime Achievement Award from the Screen Actors Guild in 1993.
Montalbán was professionally active into his 80s, when he provided voices for animated films and commercials, and appeared as Grandfather Valentin in the Spy Kids franchise. During the 1970s and 1980s, he was a spokesman in automobile advertisements for Chrysler, including those in which he extolled the "rich Corinthian leather" used for the Cordoba's interior.
He would have been 101 years old 🎈
He sadly died aged 88 in 2009.
Bev Bevan  is an English rock musician, who was the drummer and one of the original members of The Move and Electric Light Orchestra (ELO). After the end of ELO in 1986, he founded ELO Part II.
Bevan also was drummer for Black Sabbath during the Born Again Tour, and later played percussion on The Eternal Idol album in 1987. Bevan was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2017 as a member of Electric Light Orchestra.
He is 77 years old 🎈

Dougray Scott  is a Scottish actor. He is best known for his roles in the films Ever After (1998), Mission: Impossible 2 (2000), Enigma (2001), Hitman (2007), and My Week with Marilyn (2011).
He is 56 years old 🎈
Then we watch 2 episodes of the first series of  "Fame".
Hubby was well pissed off when he was singing along with Hi Fidelity, when the advert break cut off the song after 1 minute...
The first series is going to end with a sad moment, I might have to leave the room when this following song plays....
(As my husband keeps asking when "Starmaker gets played in this series.I remember watching it the first time it was shown, when I was 10 years old, it was sad then.)
Sleep Tea Time.
The Friday Feeling is back tomorrow 🎈
