Breaking In Another One!

A barometer is an ingenious instrument that indicates what kind of weather we are having - Ambrose Bierce
Welcome to my Thursday 🍭
As I was waiting for another lollypop stick, I didn't have to rise early.
That being the case, we both slept in late until 6.50!!!
Ahhhhhh!
Hubby was soon up and doing the breakfast while I got dressed!
One big hug,
Followed by brew and breakfast.
Hubby got dressed,
He had a sloppy wet one from me, and off to work he went.
Me?
I loaded up dishwasher.
Got out the breakmaker.
Tried making a wholemeal loaf.
Then the soup maker was put on as well.
Chicken,Leek,Parsnip & Mushroom.
Now time for a much needed coffee.
The lollipop stick was going to be delivered later on this morning.
Now to get the newspaper and drop son off at school.
Got newspaper and dropped off son.
I was soon back home.
Soon as got through the door.
My boss appeared with my new stick.
I gave her the old one to dispose off↓
I said goodbye to my boss.
The new one went back into Sexy Beast for later use in the afternoon.
I had some great post!
I have the missing MISTY annual!
I was given the other annuals at Christmas from my late parents↓↓↓↓
Now for some nice soup!
The bread was ready!
Now out to break in another lollipop stick!
One winter hat and gloves went on.
Now to show off my new stick!
After I turned on my lights.
I got chatting with my friend with his dog.
His wife and him went on their bikes out this morning for a ride, instead of tomorrow.
During to high winds.
I said goodbye to him and off to wait for my friends to arrive.
The sun keeps appearing, but the wind is building up again.
My friends arrive and time for a little rabbit.
Then it was time to start.
I said goodbye to my friends.
I kept my lollipop close to me, and cars were stopping!
My golddigging brother went past in his van.
I gave him the "burn" look all the way up the road. That ginger beard is hiding those ever increasing chins......
Then I saw the neighbourhood Policeman go past in this van, he waved at me, drove slow, then parked behind the shops.
Oh, I thought, he might come over and see me.
Nope, went in the shop, came out, back to the van, came out of the car park, and turned right down the road!
I was nearly losing my hat due the high winds!
Everyone was glad I was back, and told the reason why I wasn't here yesterday afternoon and this morning.
Finished in one piece.
Now to get back home.
Time for a brew.
I fried the meatballs, then put in the oven.
Started to cook the pasta.
Now to write yesterday's interesting blog post.
Hubby came back and a sloppy wet one.
Tea is served.
Yum.
Now to look in the newspaper.
