My wife came home and said she had some good news and some bad news about the car, "What's the good news?"
She said, "The airbag works." - Roy Chubby Brown
Welcome to my Hump of the Week 🐪
The brew tasted a lot better now the filter has been changed!
Brew with breakfast.
Thermal vest goes on.
Now to leave the house.
Two hats and gloves goes on.
Now for some fun...🍭
I am getting bigger vans not stopping.
One man in his black van just looked at me, as I raised my stick, and he drove straight it.
BOING BOING went my big stick.
One braked sharply on the otherside.
The traffic lights in the road opposite where I turn on my lights is causing the backlog of traffic.I survived just!
I went into the Co-op to get a few things.
The Tarot magazine is £6.99!
It seems no one like Parsnips. I bought 2 bags for reduced parsnips for 38p each.
Got my shopping.
Now to get a bit of fuel for Sexy Beast, now hubby has got the petrol cap off!
I went past Morrisons and they have turned off their prices of their fuel.
Put a bit in, hope it last a bit longer....
Gets the newspaper and my neighbour's magazine on the way home.
Unpacks the shopping.
Now time for coffee.
I ran out of time to finish it.
Warmth up the soup from yesterday.
I added salad onions to it and more chilli flakes.
Just about finished it off.
Cup of coffee to wash it down!
Note to self:
Not to add Carrots to the next one.
I had my new Tarot cards arrive.
When I looked up at the meanings of each card.
It might as well be in Chinese, as didn't under them!
Now off for round 2:
He was locking the entrance gate, stop parents of the schools parking in the car park.
Both friends appeared when I was about to turn on my lights.
We all went for a walk and then I turned on my lights.
Now it's time for a little rabbit.
The time went to quick having a rabbit!
I said goodbye to my friends.
Now to for round 2!
Plenty of BOINGs were given out.
No chance of cars stopping at all.
Oh well, at least I have survived to tell the tale once more!
Home time.
(I am having a chicken salad instead)
The Soup maker came back out.
They had Cheese Burgers.
I had a chicken salad.
I remember a series call "Black Box" that was shown on Channel 4 in the 1990s.
If you get chance to see it, it's brilliant.
Now to look in today's newspaper.
Lloyd Price was an American R&B and swing singer-songwriter, record executive and bandleader, known as "Mr. Personality", after his 1959 million-selling hit, "Personality". His first recording, "Lawdy Miss Clawdy", was a hit for Specialty Records in 1952. He continued to release records,
but none were as popular until several years later, when he refined the
New Orleans beat and achieved a series of national hits. He was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1998.
He would have been 89 years old 🎈
He sadly died aged 88 in 2021.
