Heat! It was so dreadful that I found there was nothing for it but to take off my flesh and sit in my bones - Sydney Smith
Welcome to do a Hot Hot Hot Monday!
Heardle 60s:
My son's answers↓
(It's already getting warm!)
Time to leave the house.
Wobbly Work Wheel time 🎡
Armed with a cold bottle of water.
One man who was stood outside said to me:
"Are you going to Judo?"
I ignored him and got my newspaper.
Goes back to Sexy Beast to collect my big stick.
I got chatting to a Grandmother who was looking after her grandkids as they were not going to school during these hot temperatures.
There was hardly any traffic.
Crossed over about 20 parents and kids.
Getting well warm!
Glad I have got the bottle of water on me!
I finished in one piece!
As I was taking my coat off and putting in the boot of Sexy Beast.
I heard a very loud conversation between two mothers:
Mother 1: I really a drink on Thursday during the day, as it's my Birthday, but I have to pick up the kids from school!"
Mother 2: I will pick up the kids if you want.
Mother 1: Can you have a drink with me?
I got into Sexy Beast, and drove off before I heard the answer.
Back home.
Summer coat and cap went into the washing machine.
Now to dip the feet into some cold water!
I hung the coat and cap on the line.
(Hoping it might be a bit damp for the afternoon shift)
Light lunch time!
Now to leave for the second part!
Collects my big stick.
Goes into the shade in the park.
Sweating cobs when we walk over to my spot.
Said goodbye to them.
Now to start....
Bleedin' warm!
Crossed over about 10 parents and children.
Glad I had a bottle of ice cold water.
Finished in one piece.
Back home.
Put the tea in the oven.
Gave hubby a sloppy wet one when he came home 💋
Fast forward button was used a lot!
