Watch Out For That Big Lorry!

The worst words in the English language are,We need to talk."
Either that or, "Whose bra is this?" - Jerry Seinfeld

Welcome aboard the Wobbly Work Wheel 🎡
The sun is back shining 🌞
I jumped into a nice warm shower before we did today's HEARDLEs.
Heardle 60s was:
My son's answers for Heardle:
Time for breakfast and brew.
Now out to face the world!
Gave hubby a sloppy wet one 💋
I went and got my newspaper.
Summer coat went on.
Turned on my lights.
Let's go to work 🍭
There was a lorry parked opposite on double yellow lines..↓
Making my job a bit harder!
4 cars on the otherside of the road, totally ignored my big stick and kept going.
Green Eyed Monster went past again and shot me if looks could kill again!
I was glad to finish in one piece.
I posted off a parcel in the Post Office.
They asked me," Where my penpals from Death Row had gone.....?"
I shook my shoulders, and said:
"Writing paper is hard to find on Death Row!"
Back home.
Washing machine went back on.
As did the Coffee machine.
Watered all the plants.
Hung washing on the line.
Coffee time.
Wrote a bit of yesterday's blog post up to lunch.
Light lunch time.
Then back out for the second round of fun!
I went the other way to avoid the four way lights.
Was lucky as there was only one parking space left in the car park.
I put on my Summer Coat.
I got chatting to someone walking his dog, about his late deceased neighbour, and waiting for his DBS to come through so he can start his new job.
I wished him good luck with that.
Put my lights on and got chatting to someone else.
By the time I said goodbye to him, I had run out of time to get a ice lolly.
Fetches my big stick and waits in the square for my friends to come.
My friend arrive to have a little rabbit.
Once it was time to start my job.
I said goodbye to my friends.
Round 2
One car driver stopped, and the passenger window opened.
"Why do you always stop me?"
I winked, blew him a kiss, and said,"With love!"
He laughed and drove off.
I held my stick up, a big lorry was coming up the road, he slammed on his brakes at the last minute. My stick was 2 inches away from his windscreen.
Phew,that was close!
I didn't see Green Eyed Monster but actually the husband in his car as he went past me and put his hand up!
Finished in one piece.
Home time.
Cup of brew is needed!
I carried on writing yesterday's blog.
Hubby came home for a much needed sloppy wet one 😘
Made another Meat Free Stir Fry.
Now to look into today's newspaper.
