You can tell a man isn't handy when he asks the man next door how to get blood off a saw - Milton Berle.
Welcome to my Hump of the Week 🐪
Now to do all the Heardles..
Heardle 60s:
My results:
Now out to get out of the house...
On goes winter coat and winter hat.
I gets the newspaper.
Fetches big stick and gloves.
Now let's go to work 🍭
It was well windy.
Felt like I was going to take off!
One car put their foot down and sped past me as I walking towards them!
I just make sure my stick goes into the road first!
I had to give 3 BOINGs out for those not stopping!
I was glad to finish in one piece.
Then it started to rain.
(Good job I had left my rain mac in Sexy Beast)
I had to pick up a parcel.
I was looking at the Fridge Freezers in there.
I picked up my parcel and left in the rain.
Back home.
Hubby has the Lemax Funhouse.
All be revealed soon!
Coffee machine went on.
Emptied all the bins.
Then it was time for more cooking...
Time for a light lunch!
I parked in the other car park.
On goes the winter coat and hat.
I see two friends gathering up the pears in the near-by park.
I go go and have a good chat.
They had a good bag of pears which had fell off the tree.
They call it "Scrumping"
I ask "If they want any Bramley Apples?"
"Yes, and they will meet me tomorrow afternoon for them!"
One of my friends I chat to arrived and we all had a good chat.
Then it was time to put on my lights, I said goodbye to my two friends and carried onto turn on the lights with my other friend.
My other friend arrived when we got to the square. The rain held off.
Now for a little rabbit....
It was time to start my shift.
I said "See you all tomorrow!"
At least the wind had died down.
It was still cloudy.
A few more BOINGs handed out.
&
Testing of the car brakes at the last minute!
Finished in one piece.
Back home I go.
Now to write yesterday's blog post.
Hubby came back for a warm hug and a bit of a sloppy wet one 💋
Tea is served.
Older son took another Covid Test.
Day 5: Postive
Once finished I looked into today's newspaper.
The Shadows - Kon-Tiki
US No.1 on this day in 1957:
Jimmie Rodgers - Honeycomb
US No.1 on this day in 1959:
Bobby Darin - Mack the Knife
Now to start on Season 3 of "Yellowstone"
Sleep Tea time.
Then it happened:
First older son was shouting very loudly to his friends in the US at 1.30am, waking up hubby.
Then at 3am, the hubby's snoring was getting so loud, I had double ear plugs in and still could hear it!
Downstairs I went to sleep on the sofa!
No Hump Day Relief for me! 🐫
