Rain is one thing the British do better than anybody else
- Marilyn French
Welcome to my Tuesday ☂
Nice big stretch to start the day with \o/
Heardle 60s:
My results:
After getting dressed, on goes those sexy lumo trousers.
Now to leave the house.
The first route I was going to go, there was a big queue, went a bit further and went the long way to work....
Finally got to work!
I gets the newspaper and picks up 3 packets of Dumplings mix for free :)
Now to turn on my lights.
Now let the fun start!
Just as it starts to get better for cars actually stopping....
I nearly clip 4 car windscreens.
3 boings were given out.
Several cars had to brake at the last minute!
While I am stood there waiting for the rain, the sun comes out!!!!!
At least I finished in one piece.
As soon as I finish the rain starts!
Back to Sexy Beast I go!
Back home I go.
I sweep the path free of leaves and pears.
Coffee machine not doing coffee today!
Used the kettle instead.
Liquid lunch time!
"Rain is expected."
There was only a 20% chance of rain.
I left my sexy lumo trousers off.
Now for Round 2.
My friend was waitin for me.
Puts my winter coat and winter hat.
Goes and put on my lights with my friend in toe.
Then we bumped into another friend walking his dog. He told us of how a pot of paint was knocked off the step ladder, and it ended all over his blue bedroom carpet.
My friend commented on that:
"If you are awkward, what a way to show it!"
I fetched my big stick and went with my friend for coffee.
More rabbit to do!
Once we finished we went outside.
I said, "Goodbye" to both friends.
Now to start round 2.
Nearly clipped another windscreen!
Plus it started to rain again!
Really heavy.
Leggings getting wet!
At least I had my winter coat on!
Some late braking doing as well.
Finished in one piece in the rain!
On the way back home, there were three way lights going up on the road island I use to get to and from work.
Different way to work tomorrow!
Now for a cup of brew!
I put the Pasta on.
Hubby came home and a sloppy wet one 💋
Served up the Pasta.
Yum.
Now to look into today's newspaper:
Buddy Holly & The Crickets - That'll Be The Day
Hubby came back with the food to cover us for the rest of the week.
Helped put it away.
Sleep Tea Time.
