Packing In The Layers!

"If you look for it, I’ve got a sneaky feeling you’ll find that love, actually, is all around.” - David (Love Actually)
Welcome to my Hump of the Week 🐫
We were up early doing the Heardles.
Heardle 60s:
My answers:
Breakfast and Brew time.
Thermal vest goes on, as well as plenty of layers!
Time to leave the house.
It was well cold!
Gives hubby a sloppy wet one 💋 before I left.
Puts on two hats, winter coat, winter gloves.
Goes and gets my newspaper.
Then swaps newspaper for my big stick.
Goes and puts on lights.
I turn on my lights.
Off to work I go.
Oh dear, lots of tanks about.
Some people don't like scrapeing the ice off their windscreens!
So glad of the layers I am wearing under my coat to keep the cold out!
So giving out BOINGs for those failing to stop as well!
Was given a lovely present with a card :)
Was so glad to finish in one piece!
Exchanged big winter coat for my Teddy coat.
Then off to get some bits from the Co-op.
Back home.
Put the Coffee machine on.
However the coffee is coming out :(
Had to have normal coffee!
Made tonight's tea.
That went in the oven for later.
By the time I was on the second coffee.
It was time for liquid lunch.
Back out to do the afternoon shift.
On goes the winter hat, winter gloves, and winter coat.
Even the big big sunglasses went on!
I turned on the lights.
Low lying sun fun later!
I had a little rabbit with my friends up to the time when I had to start my shift.
"See you all tomorrow!"
Only 2 days left.
Low lying sun was causing a lot of problems.
So many cars doing the Limbo Dance under my big stick!
If they slowed down and put their visor down, they probably could see my big stick!
One had to brake suddenly when she tried her luck of trying to going under my stick!
Few BOINGs given out!
I was glad to finish in one piece.
Back home I go.
The late neighbour's son is in the process of cleaning out his late dad's house had a large delivery just left by his gate.
Time for a brew....
I put the oven on.
Now to chill until hubby comes home.
When he did, he had a large sloppy one 💋
Tea is served.
Mmmm
Time to look into today's newspaper.
US No.1 on this day in 1959:
Guy Mitchell - Heartaches By The Number
We caught up with the news.
Followed by the newspaper review.
Sleep Tea.
Now to get under that 16 tog duvet before the heating goes off!
