Water, taken in moderation, cannot hurt anybody - Mark Twain
Welcome to the last day of January!
Another Birthday of mine next month 😁
We were up early to do the Heardles.
Heardle 60s:
My results:
Now to go out for some fresh air!
I have to a detour to get to work.
A lot quicker and avoids 2 sets of traffic lights!
Goes and gets my newspaper.
Swaps my newspaper for my big stick!
Let's go to work..🍭
Only three boings given out.
One man driving an old Rover put his hand up as he drove past!
BOING!
At least the sun is appearing.
I could be losing at least one layer in the afternoon!
Finished in one piece.
I did some top up shopping at the Co-op.
Then got some petrol.
Back home I went!
Followed by the dishwasher.
Now for coffee!
2009↓
2020↓
Liquid lunch time!
I go and turn on my lights.
Both friends are here for a little rabbit.
We hear a bang coming over where I normally stand for my job. We notice a van pull up with a panel missing from the side of the van.
The van driver stopped the van, and went and retrieved the missing panel. Then we watched him try to put it back on.
He had help from someone to try and fit it back.
One friend said goodbye and went to work.
My other friend and I walked around to the square to carry on watching to see if the missing panel was going to fixed on.
Then he drove off.
We walked down to see if the Charity Shop was open. It wasn't.
Some fun I am going to have tomorrow↓
The low lying sun is going to cause some problems again.
Afternoon shift!
Oh dear, cars not stopping on the otherside.
BOING x 3.
I gave out one loud BOING and the car driver turned round to see me walking across the road with my big stick!
Some of the schools are closing early because of the Teacher's Strike.
I will still be here!
Finished in one piece!
Now back home.
The youngest son was going to the University of Birmingham for a Chemistry Lecture with his Second Year A-Level Chemistry class.
The older son was out with his friends.
Meal for two it is then.
We both enjoyed a salad!
