Fun In the Snow!

Welcome to Thursday with a dash of snow ⛄

I looked out of the window, and the snow has settled.

Going to have some fun getting to work! 

Breakfast with Brew.

On goes the Thermal vest with purple trousers.

Now to clear the snow off Sexy Beast.

I gives hubby a sloppy wet one 💋

I told him to be careful getting to work.

I was careful driving to my workplace.

On goes the winter coat, winter hat, winter gloves and snow shoes.

Now to turn on my lights and get the newspaper.

Puts my lights on,

Gets my newspaper.

Swaps my newspaper for my big stick.

Now to turn on my other lights.

Turns on my lights.

My spot is now getting very icy and slippy.

I had to move further up as it was like a sheet of glass, and there was black ice on the road.

So I had to warm the children and parents to be careful where they were putting their feet.

At least the car drivers were driving slow and letting me get back on the pavement.

Finished in one piece!

Drove carefully back home.

 

Now for the coffee machine goes on.

The Council Meeting about house is cancelled because of the snow....

Great!

Coffee time!

Then my boss phones me:

I tell them, "I had to move up from my spot as it was like a sheet of glass."

"You are not insured to move off it." They said.

"So if I cause a crater in the road you can see from the moon, from me having a mischief, who do I sue then?"

Silence

"I will work on the otherside of the road when this happens again."

If it snows again, I was advised not to try to get to work tomorrow.

Wrote yesterday's blog post up to liquid lunch.

The sexy lumo trousers went on.

Now to take care...

On goes the winter coat, winter hat, winter gloves and snow shoes.

Turns on two sets of lights.

Waits in the square and one friend comes and we have a nice chat about the snow!

I tell him to be careful getting home.

Now to start my shift...

I was careful getting off the pavement onto the road and vice versa.

It was very quiet for traffic!

No BOINGs given out.

One parent commented this morning I didn't have my sexy lumo trousers on.

As I crossed it over,

I pointed to my lumos and sang:

"Especially For You!"

Finished safely.

Back home

Cup of brew is needed after that!

Starts on the tea.

Gives hubby a sloppy wet one when he came home.

Tea is served.
