Push Pineapple, Shake The Tree!

I always wanted to be somebody, but I should have been more specific - Lily Tomlin
Welcome to a interesting Saturday 👀
We had breakfast and brew.
We listened to "The Sounds of the 60s"
UK Top 3 from 1960.
3: Duane Eddy - Because They' re Young
2: Elvis Presley - A Mess of Blues
1:The Shadows - Apache
Dressed.
Now to visit town.
We park in Car Park 4.
Looking down↓
I waited when hubby went to get his eyes checked. I chatted with a friend I used to work at Royal Mail, and someone else who works in a Charity Shop. Told them what our beloved council had plans for the Library and how much it is going to cost.
There was a exhibition on 50 years of the Kingfisher Shopping Centre.
There used to Palm Trees.
Now for a much needed coffee.
&
Tea Cake.
We looked in The Range and two charity shops.
There was nothing we wanted.
Now to go over and see my mum and dad.
I had a good chat for 20 minutes.
Then we had a ride out to the Church and Graveyard where we are going on Tuesday for my dear friend's funeral.
Now to look around the graveyard.
Found where my friend is being buried on Tuesday ↓
She is being buried next to her late lovely Grandson George who passed a way too soon :'(
I walked around a bit more, and found some of my late customers, who I delivered their mail too. I rolled off where they used to live.
As I delivered the mail in Studley for 19 years.
I bumped into my late friend's daughter, and passed my condolences onto her dad.
I got chatting to two ladies who was tidying up some graves. One of them I see around the village, she said to come early on Tuesday for the funeral as it is going to be packed.
I wished them a good weekend.
Off to the car we went.
So much bad driving on the way back.
We nipped into Asda to get our tea for tonight and we will do the rest of the food shop tomorrow morning.
Liquid Lunch.
&
Coffee
Then I wrote 2 blog posts.
Tea was put in the oven.
I looked into today's newspaper.
Tea is ready.
Telly time.
Then we watched:
then James Whale.
Sleep Tea Time.
Might have a little lie-in tomorrow....
Night all x
