Stopping That Noise!!!

It may be that your sole purpose in life is to serve as a warning to others - Anon
Welcome to my Thursday 💄
After spending a lot of night trying to get comfortable on a 2 seater sofa, it was time for a much needed cup of tea!
Sleeping Beauty rose and made breakfast.
We got both sons up.
(One son is going into work)
While I was getting dressed, hubby fetched the newspaper and filled his car up with fuel.
Then he dropped son off and came back to pick us up.
The postman arrived and gave me my mail.
I had a reply from one of the prisoners on Death Row, I wrote to at the beginning of the month.
Now onto another Road Trip...
We looked around the market.
Now to hit the Charity shops..
Now for a coffee...
They didn't have Full Fat Milk (Blue)
So had soya milk with my Americano
Now to get back on the Charity Shop Hunt.
Got lots of bargains!
Now back home.
Got the soup maker out....
The soup didn't taste as good as yesterday :(
Live and learn.
Hubby went out to get some Ear Plugs, as it would have been another night for me on the sofa as my Ear Plugs from Amazon wasn't coming until tomorrow.
He found some!
Hubby then went out with son to do the week's shopping (And next door's shopping)
One Black Audi travelling with no headlights, actually went off the highway and went back on.
Hubby was glad it turned left at the Road Traffic Island.
I got on with writing the blog from yesterday.
When he returned, I helped put the shopping away.
Now for tea.

Now to watch the second film...
Now to read today's newspaper.
Skeeter Davis (born Mary Frances Penick;) was an American country music singer who sang crossover pop music songs including 1962's "The End of the World." She started out as part of the Davis Sisters as a teenager in the late 1940s, eventually landing on RCA Victor. In the late 1950s, she became a solo star. One of the first women to achieve major stardom in the country music field as a solo vocalist, she was an acknowledged influence on Tammy Wynette and Dolly Parton and was hailed as an "extraordinary country/pop singer" by The New York Times music critic Robert Palmer.
She would have been 90 years old 🎈
She died aged 72 in 2004
Charles  Westover , better known by his stage name Del Shannon, was an American rock and roll country musician, singer and songwriter, best known for his 1961 number 1 Billboard hit "Runaway".

The Beatles' "Hello Goodbye" single goes #1 & stays #1 for 3 weeks in 1967.
British singer-songwriter Ray Davies, of The Kinks, is awarded a knighthood by Queen Elizabeth II in 2016.
Then on to watch the News, and the review of the newspapers.
