You can make a lot of money out of golf.Ask any of my ex-wives - Lee Trevino
Welcome aboard my Wobbly Work Wheel 🎡
Going off to another Council meeting tonight.
I will be a Councillor on the Parish Council next month properly.
Breakfast and Brew.
Thermal vest is stopping on.
Rain was forecasted all day.
On goes those sexy lumo trousers!
Coat and hat goes on.
Back to work I go.
I gives hubby a sloppy wet one 💋
Off to work I go.
On goes the winter hat, and winter hat.
I goes and walks down to put on my lights and then got my newspaper.
Swapped my newspaper for my big stick.
Now to turn on my other lights.
Let's go to work 🍭
I had one woman saying sorry for not stopping one day last week.
Wow, good start to the week!
 One BOING was given out.
It stopped raining, and getting warm.
The gloves came off!
Finished in one piece!
Back home.
Coffee time.
Then to sort out bills, and photos for the upcoming blog posts I have to write.
All this took me up my liquid lunch!
It was raining yet again.
On goes the sexy lumo trousers again!
Now to do the afternoon shift.
Waterproofs time!
I go and turn on both lights.
Only have one friend today, as the other friend is getting someone to put his television on the wall.
We nipped into the Charity Shop for a chat and look around. Then it back to Sexy Beast to fetch my big stick.
Hoping this afternoon will be a picnic!
It has stopped raining, so we went to have a little rabbit in the square.
Once it was time to say goodbye and start my shift.
Still have car drivers failing to stop on the otherside, or they stop in the Keep Clear area!
At least the rain kept on.
Finished in one piece.
Took all my waterproofs off.
Start to drive home and it starts to rain!
Cup of tea time!
I have a early tea as I am going to watch another Council meeting later.
I look into today's newspaper.
UK No.1 on this day in 1959:
Buddy Holly - It Doesn't Matter Anymore.
US No.1 on this day in 1961:
Del Shannon - Runaway
US No.1 on this day in 1965:
Wayne Fontana and the Mindbenders - Game of Love
Now to go to the Council Meeting.
The meeting was at the new Elderly Home.
I was given an Agenda of the meeting.
It was a lovely meeting.
I will look forward to the next one next month!
Back home.
At least my garden lights are working!
I had a sleep tea.
I caught up with Top of the Pops from 1987:
Hubby is bringing back a Magic Box from Morrisons.
Hoping for more sunshine tomorrow

It's Not Big Enough!

Normal is just a cycle on the washing machine -
 Whoopi Goldberg
Welcome to my Hump of the Week 🐪
No sunshine 😎
Heardle time:
Heardle 60s:
My son's answers:
Breakfast and Brew time.
Dressed.
Gives hubby a sloppy wet one 💋
Then it was time for a little ride in Sexy Beast.
Gets newspaper.
Drops off son at work.
Then off to Sainsburys...
Gets a nice 9th Birthday card.
Fills it in,
Drops it round.
Back home.
Coffee machine goes on.
Unloads and loads up dish washer.
Now for coffee!
Then I start to make a beef stew for tonight's tea.
Out comes the red casserole pot...
Once all made, it goes on a low temp in the oven for later.
Early lunch is needed.
Now to sort out all my things for the Bake Off comp on Sunday.
I measured the cake tin, then the cake board.
Oh dear, the cake board is too small for the cake to sit on!
The cake will overhang the cake board!!
We need a bigger cake board!
Quickly orders a bigger one.
(I hope they find my house to deliver it!)
After all of that fun,
I write yesterday's blog post!
Hubby come home and has a nice sloppy wet one 😘
Time to dish up the nice beef stew.
Served with sweet potato mash.
Yum.
Afterwards I looked into today's newspaper.
US No.1 on this day in 1974:
Paper Lace - The Night Chicago Died.
Now to get into a chilled mood,
While watching some bad car drivers....in
Sleep Tea Time.
I will start baking the cake to go into the Bake Off Comp tomorrow!
Wish me luck!

It Can Never Be Big Enough!

Marriage is a wonderful invention; but, then again, so is a bicycle repair kit - Billy Connolly
Welcome to my Tuesday 💥
Nice big hug to start Tuesday with.
Brew with breakfast.
Dressed.
It was looking dry outside...still a bit cold...
Gave hubby a sloppy wet 💋 before I left.
I have to go a different way due to traffic lights at the bottom of the road, causing bedlam!
I put on my Summer Coat..
(with four layers underneath)
I put on my lights..
Now for the fun to start...🍭
The first child I crossed over...
Ran over, and  nearly tripped over
(Where the cross is in the picture)
He nearly landed in the middle of the road!
He steadied himself just in time.
Now for the fun of stopping cars....
A lot of cars went under my stick.
I lowered my stick to their face level and they stopped. One car was racing up the road and was met with a loud bang of stick being banged down on the floor!
Just got finished and chatting to a parent about the fun she had going for a Lunch Time Supervisior as the near-by school.
They said she wasn't suitable and readvertised the job, 5 days later.
I did say I was told of the job going.
But I prefer my lunch for one and not with 300 children now!
I didn't realise the time, and I should have been sitting down at Webbs, having a coffee and chat!
Too much rabbit again!
I said my goodbyes and went off to Sexy Beast.
I got to Webbs in 25 minutes.
I had to stop Sexy Beast in a funny position as a trolley was left in the car space I wanted to get into.
Now for coffee, chat and nibble.
After coffee, it was time to not get in the mood for Christmas!
I said goodbye to my friend, and now back home for a light lunch.
My new loft ladder had been delivered!
That should be tall enough!
I have a light lunch.
I had to take a layer of clothing as it was getting quite warm.
It looked like rain.
On goes the winter coat!
I puts on my lights.
Chats with one friend.
My friend and his dog didn't appear.
Now to do the afternoon shift.
I lowered the stick the whole time,
Suddenly the brake pedal was being used a lot!
I finished in one piece.
On top of traffic lights at the bottom of the road.
Traffic lights have now appeared at the top of the road .....
Back home.
Once the pastry was cooked,
I added the filling and put it in the oven to cook.
More coffee needed!
Hubby comes back and has a sloppy wet 💋
He gives me today's newspaper.
He looks at the loft ladder that came early.
"It's too big, you will have to send it back!" He said.
"It's not too big, and I'm not sending it back, you were looking at the measurements before I bought it!"I replied.
On and on he went about the ladder.
I dished up the tea.
One son left his tea...
Hubby left a 1/4 of his.
The other son and me ate all of it.
Can't win!
Hubby and younger son went off to the storage unit to fetch more stuff to put back in the loft.
Hubby and sons then put it up the loft.
Then on about the ladder again.....
All I had in my ear was "Send it back!"
I pointed to the Bathroom light...
"When's this being put up?"
Hubby and one son put it up.
We now have light!
(I am meaning to source the same pink paint I used to paint the bathroom with to paint over the white bit where the old light fitting was!)
I looked into today's newspaper while someone was still on about the bloody ladder being returned!
My answer was "No it bloody isn't!"
