How Low Can It Go?

The easier job I ever had was a store detective in a piano shop -
Rainer Hersch
Welcome to my Friday Feeling 🎈
Nice warm hug :)
Brew with Breakfast.
Now to add the many layers...
Including the thermal vest!
It's freezing outside!
Uncovered Sexy Beast.
I gave hubby a cold wet sloppy 💋 before I left.
It was showing -2.5c....
Off to work I go...
Double winter hats, and big big winter gloves.
Now to walk up and put on my lights.
While I was waiting, I got chatting to someone
(who waves at me while I am doing my job)
I was saying how cold it was at -2.5c ..
He could better that, and then he tells me how much fun he had in Finland.
His wife and he, went to Finland before the first Lockdown to see the Northern Lights.
He showed me some great photos.
At night it was -29c!!!
A cup of water he left by the window in the hotel was completely frozen. The near-by river had frozen so much, you could walk across it.
I wished him a good weekend.
Put on my lights, and down to my spot I went.
Plenty of tanks around.
Not clearing their car windows.
I was chatting to someone about how cold it was today, he said, somewhere in the world the temperature is -60c!
I said, "So cold something would turn black and drop off!".
I was chatting with one mother who is good at crochet and knitting.
I went:
She laughed!
I had to do 3 BOINGS on cars that failed to stop!
I finished in one piece.
I went back to my car and got chatting to someone else about cold temperatures.
His future daughter in law comes from Canada, and it is -20c there.
"I will never moan about it being -2c here."
I wished him luck with his hand op next week.
I nipped into the Co-op to get tonight's tea.
I picked up the newspaper on the way home.
I put on the coffee machine.
Unloaded the shopping,
&
The dishwasher.
Time for a bit of coffee.
Then I wrote yesterday's blog post.
Then I used the remaining tin of soup in the house, and added chilli to it....
Now to do the final shift of the week.
Big big sunglasses went on.
Two winter hats go on, and big gloves.
Turns on my lights.
The low lying sun is going to cause problems..
I have a little rabbit with my 2 friends before I start.
I wish my friends a good weekend, then I start.
I had about 3 limbo drivers go under my stick.
One had to brake suddenly.
At least I finished in one piece!
Hometime.
It was getting cold again.
Now to get that Spinning Bike out.
I finished watching
"Something's Gotta Give"↓
Now moving on to great film↓
Once I done 20 minutes on the Spin Bike.
Time do a bit of Abs training....
Felt nice and warm after that!
Hubby comes back and has a nice wet sloppy 💋
Time to dish up the food!
We caught up with "Dragon's Den".
Hubby went food shopping with our younger son (Who was doing next door neighbour's shopping)
I looked into today's newspaper.
The first episode of Boon, was originally broadcast on this day in 1986. Starring Michael Elphick and David Daker, the show ran for 7 series and 93 episodes between 1986 and 1992.

She also had a large following in the United Kingdom with two of her singles reaching the pop top ten.
She would have been 84 years old 🎈
She sadly died aged 73 in 2011.
UK No.1 on this day in 1964:
Georgie Fame & The Blue Flames - Yeh Yeh
USA No.1 on this day in 1966:
The Beatles - We Can Work it Out/ Day Tripper
Hubby comes back with the shopping.
Caught up with the news.

Now to make full use of my warm hands!

Incoming.....

It works better if you plug it in - Sattinger's Law
Welcome to my Hump of the Week 🐫
Nice big hug to start the Hump with.
Brew with breakfast.
Thermal vest goes on.
Dressed.
Gives hubby a sloppy wet 💋 before I leave.
On goes 1 winter hat with one glove.
I turned on my lights.
Now to walk down to my spot.
Now for the fun to start....🍭
Couple of cars had to be "Boing"
One car driver shouted at me after I stopped at him, and was walking back to my side of the road.
"You have stopped me twice this week!" He laughed and drove off.
He gave me a thumb when he went past five minutes later.
I was talking to someone about the red BMW from yesterday, when the actual red BMW went past me, and the driver gave me a look!
Finished in one piece.
I got the newspaper on the way home.
Puts on the coffee machine.
More Christmas Decorations added.
Now to get yesterday's blog wrote.
I thought it would only take a hour, all the way to lunch it took!
Hubby had his boxset come.
Out I go.
1 winter hat and one glove.
Walked up the road to turn on my lights.
Then back down to talk to my 2 friends.
No low lying sun this afternoon.
I said goodbye to my friends.
Now to start the afternoon shift!
Oh dear, one sporty tin can with a hair dryer as an exhaust was going to blast past me.
However he didn't succeed.
Out comes the stick and he had to slam the brakes on. Afterwards, he tried to get up the revs, and failed.
I was given two Christmas presents.
Just 5 minutes from the end of shift, I was two children over, when a car appeared to come out of a side road:
Incoming car not stopping!
So I had to put out my hand to stop the kids from crossing over to the other side of the road, as the car just sped past us in the middle of the road!
I was glad I made sure the kids were safe and didn't get run over!
Finished in one piece at the end of my shift.
Back home I go.
Time for a brew.
What is behind the Advent Door today?
I got tea on the go.
Hubby came back and had a sloppy wet 💋
Tea is served.
Afterwards we nipped out to spend that voucher....
Nice big casserole dish going....↑
Got the rest of the Christmas things we needed, as I expect by next Wednesday, you couldn't get a Christmas Pudding for love or money!
Back home to unpack it all.
Now to look in the newspaper.
Hubby had a car with a electronic handbrake.
Until the car rolled off the kerb down the road while we dropping off our kids at Scout Meeting.
Lots of adults had to try and stop the car from going any further.
After that, he got a car with a manual handbrake!
