Today is my late dad's Birthday.

I pumped up the balloons before  Breakfast and Brew.

We listened to "Sounds of the 60s"

Got dressed.

Hopefully the rain keeps off....

Off to wish my dad a Happy Birthday 🎈

Gives them the weekly update.

Then off to town to get my new pair of reading glasses.

I could read the smallest print!

Went for a quick coffee and nibble.

Now to visit two charity shops.

Got some nice things from both!

Brilliant film!

Now to do a good deed of dropping 4 bags of books at Coughton Court.

Sequin time!

They were glad of the books.

Back on the road to do some food shopping at Lidl's.

Nice.

The 10% helped off the bill.

Back home to unpack the shopping.

Light lunch.

Quick look into today's newspaper.

Out came the red cooking pot.

Fills it up with some lovely things and in it goes into the oven.

My older son comes round and does a big catch up before I dished it up.

We was going to watch...

We changed our minds and decided to watch another great film instead...

I dropped older son back home afterwards.

The garden lights were looking good.

I had my sleep tea.

Off to a warm bed with even warmer hands!

 

 

Friday Feeling With Birthday Fun!

Welcome to the Friday Feeling and Hubby's Birthday 🎈

Quick opening of the curtains!

He had a Birthday wet one!

He opened his card and presents.

Then we completed all the Heardles.

Heardle 60s was:

Brew and Breakfast time!

Dressed.

Now out into the sunshine.

 Big big sunglasses goes on..

Gives hubby a sloppy wet one 😘

Gets the newspaper.

On goes the Summer Coat.

At least the traffic lights have now gone!

I turn on my lights.

Let's get to work 🍭

I had to give out several BOINGs as the cars were just going straight under my big stick!

Some on the otherside had to perform the emergency stop too!

At least I finished in one piece!

Back home.

Hubby loved his cake!

While hubby mowed the lawn.

I put the coffee machine on,

As well as the Soup Maker!

After the lawn was mowed,

Coffee time!

Early liquid lunch...

Now out to do the final part for the week, with Birthday Boy 🎈

On goes the summer coat.

I turn on my lights.

Now to wait for my friends to arrive...

Say Cheese!

Rabbit time!

I wish everyone a good weekend.

Now for the final shift of the week.

Hubby couldn't believe how bad the driving was.

A few BOINGs given out.

One car did the Limbo and went straight under my stick was out in front of me!

I was glad I finished in one piece!

Back home.

Time for some Brew and Cake!

While hubby started on the tea,

I had a quick look in the newspaper.

Out in Sexy Beast we go....

One of the main roads we use was blocked off, so we had to go another way.

Roadworks everywhere!

At least we got here!

Says hello to Sue the Receptionist again.

Hubby was just about to mount the stairs, when Sue said "we wasn't in that room!"

She led us to a wonderful room!

Now to go for a Birthday Drink!

Back to the room for some unwinding.

Pity I have such big feet!

Sleep Tea time...

Now to turn off the light and to make full use of that BIG BED 🎈
