A Little Bit Of Final Destination Is Going On!

Life without you was like a broken pencil - pointless.
Lord Blackadder to Elizabeth 1, Blackadder 2
Welcome back to the Friday Feeling 🎈
The sun is out once more!
Heardle Time.
Heardle 60s:
My son's Heardle answers↓
Brew with Breakfast.
Dressed.
Now out for the last working day of the week.
I gives hubby a sloppy wet one 💋
I go and get today's newspaper.
Then on goes the Summer Coat,
&
Big big sunglasses.
Now to turn on my lights.
Turns on my lights.
Let's get on with doing it 🍭
I got a lorry parking opposite my spot on double yellow lines. It was in no hurry to move!
The traffic wasn't playing ball either.
One black van went under my stick.
The white Audi
 which was following,
I lowered my stick down, it kept going.
Nearly tapped and cracked his windscreen, and I could have dragged the stick across his roof!
Few other cars were having BOINGs for not stopping!
Finished in one piece.
Good job I got to the Petrol Station as the light came on the dashboard when I stopped at the pump.
Didn't help the petrol station was 5p cheaper.
Went to Hughes to pick up another parcel.
I had a red Royal Mail van follow me all the way to where I was having coffee.
Now to look around before coffee, and chat.
Once it was open.
Time for coffee!
I had a good chat with my friend.
It was getting a bit warm.
On the way home,
I saw the local Postie with a bandana on his head, I gave him a blast of horn and waved to him.
Back home.
Time for some light lunch.
Now out for the final shift of the week!
On goes the Summer Coat.
I was glad there was cloud cover.
Puts on my lights.
Buys my ice lolly.
Gets my big stick.
Off to the park I go for a suck!
Be having lots of lollies next week....
I only have one friend arrive.
More to rabbit about.
Nearer the time, we walked over to my spot.
I wished my friend a good weekend.
Now to do the final shift of the week.
It didn't start well.
One man I cross over nearly every afternoon, didn't use me, and tried to cross over further up the road.
He put one foot in the road,
A red car suddenly appeared,
He puts the foot back on the pavement.
A bit like Final Destination!
I saw everything, and points to my spot to him.
He walks down to me.
"I nearly had a heart attack watching you do that!" I said to him.
I cross him over safely!
Still cars want to finish their Friday off with a BOING!
It's getting well warm which doesn't help.
I finish in one piece.
Back home I go.
In need of a brew after what happened!
Joe comes and collects younger son for a ride on Big Doris.
Hubby comes back for a sloppy big 💋
It's been 3 months since his dad passed away.
He got bad news that one of his bosses's dad is soon to pass away, that brought all the memories flooding back to hubby, and memories of my late dad as well :(
Tea is dished up.
Looks in today's newspaper.
UK No.1 on this day in 1955:
Alma Cogan - Dreamboat
USA No.1 on this day in 1989:
Simply Red -If You Don't Know Me By Now
Watched five people trying to answer some questions....
Checked up on the job I went for yesterday.
Take it the interview is out ↓
Oh dear, how sad, nevermind.
Sleep Tea time.
Roll on the weekend 🎈

Hubby was going to Lidl with younger son to get bits and the newspaper.
I gave him a sloppy wet 💋

It cost him nothing.
