Howzat!

People will believe anything if you whisper it - Karl Kraus
Welcome to my Thursday 🚚
Nice bit stretch \o/
Heardle Time:
Heardle 60s
My answers:
Breakfast and Brew time.
Dressed.
Now to leave....
I gives hubby a sloppy wet one before I leave 💋💋💋
One big Tune to listen to and sing along with...↓
I gets my newspaper.
Then on goes the Summer Coat.
Time to put on my lights....
On goes my lights.
Now for the fun to start...
A lorry turned up and parked on the double yellow lines opposite where I was.
The driver seem to find something funny!
I had chaos of car drivers not giving away for cars coming the other way.
The car drivers were not stopping for me as normal.
That resulted in me giving out 5 BOINGs.
One speeding low loader lorry had to do emergency stop, so hard he braked, he skidded!
At least I survived to tell the tale!
Back to Sexy Beast
Home I go.
Coffee machine goes on.
Waters the garden front and back.
Coffee time.
Now to carry on writing the 3 blog posts up to lunch!
Light lunch time!
I had my Amazon orders.
However they were left by my garden gate....
Oh well what I bought will be going up when I get back!
Time to do the afternoon shift.
I spoke to my late neighbour's son before I left.
Another big tune to sing along with on the way to work:
Puts on my Summer coat.
Turns on my lights.
Then I sit in the square to have a good rabbit with both of my friends.
One friend wasn't feeling too well.
I said goodbye to my friends.
My supervisor turned up to see how I am doing.
Told him of all the fun I have been having.
Car Drivers started to stop....
Until one car drove straight under my stick!
Too quick for a BOING!
Told him about the lorry parking on the double yellow lines this morning.
Nice to see him again.
Off home I went...
Cup of brew is needed.
The new net curtains were put up in the kitchen.
Now for the new ones for the living room.
My younger son came back with some second hand records he bought from town.
£29 altogether.
I told him a story,
Back in 1989, I had to travel to Birmingham every Wednesday to go to College.
There was a shop called Reddingtons Rare Records↓
I went into there one Wednesday, and spent £21 on three 7" records.
I still have those records.
I told my son to go onto Ebay in future.
Loads of Beatles records on there....
As the Christmas Present I want him to get me is:
12 inch of The Race by Yello↓
I chattering to my friend on the phone when hubby came home.
He had a sloppy wet one 💋
He tested out his cooking skills..
Quick look into today's newpaper:

Losing The Baking Bread Knack!

If it's good, they'll stop making it - Herbert Block
Welcome to my Sunday 👍
Mmm nice warm hug with brew.
Breakfast.
Dressed.
As we going for a little walk to clear out the cobwebs.
We had a little walk around the block.
Felt better for it.
We had a coffee.
I put on the breadmaker on...
Hubby gone on with putting the remaining Border up the stairs.
I meanwhile decluttered the living room.
The cooking magazines I found, were put on Facebook for free.
They were soon snapped up!
They were collected.
More decluttering to do!
Light lunchtime.
Hubby had run out of border to finish off in the toilet room.
I put yet another order in for another one and for more adhestive as I know he will run out of the last lot I bought!
At least the stairs looks good.
The yellow paint I bought from B&Q to paint the skirting up the stairs isn't in no more.
The trouble I had to find more yellow paint, I am not using the paint I used last week, as it gives off too many fumes.
Hubby packed his computer away.
He is going back to work tomorrow, full time in the office.
TIme for sewing machine to go back.....
Belated Tea at 3.
I got the bread out of the breadmaker...
Oh dear here we go again!
The middle dropped!!!
Puts the breadmaker back on for round 2.
There was some yellow paint on my son's blazer.
I got it off, but the smell of white spirit would not come out of the blazer, even after I washed it twice in the washing machine.
That went in the bin in a black bag.
I got him a navy M&S suit jacket.
He dug out the red suit I bought he was supposed to wear for his prom last year.
(It was cancelled due to Covid-19)
The jacket is getting a bit small, and so is the waistcoat.
He wasn't very happy about it.
He does look very good in the suit even though it was a bit tight on him.
I bought him 3 suits in last August to wear in Sixth Form.
He had to wear one of the other two for tomorrow.
I found a different coloured tie to what he normally wears to school .
He looks nice and smart in another suit and tie.
He getting really tall,
(Like my late dad who was 6ft 2 tall).
Time for tea!
Roast Pork Tea.
I finally located some yellow wood paint. I hopefully will get it this week.
That's the skirting done soon!
I dropped a email to the solictor dealing with the sale of my late dad's house. As reading in yesterday's i newspaper, there such a backlog of sales going through, it might go through by this June!
Won't be giving up any of my jobs just yet!

Keeping It Filled Up!

If you play with anything long enough it will break - Murphy's Law
Welcome to my Saturday 👅
Nice to have hug with a brew!
Breakfast.
Kids are off for their daily exercise.
They will meet us at the graveyard where my parents are buried.
I had some nice stuff arrive in the post↓
Now to go out for some fresh air.
Kids started on their walk.
We went past where the new Lidl is being built.
They are slowly bringing down the old buildings..
Tidied up my parent's grave.
Next Sunday is Mother's Day, and got the balloons ready as well as more flowers.
We had a look around the graveyard.
We found someone who died at 101 years old.
Kids arrived.
Back home.
We had a nice treat of a Bacon and black pudding sandwich↓
Then off to get some meat for the freezer.
(I stopped in the car)
When we got back, time for all of it to go in the freezer.
Time for a much needed coffee.
Hubby and son then went off to do some food shopping for us and the next door neighbour.
I had a Cottage Pie to make.
Once it was done, in the oven it went.
Having fun at the moment trying to master bread.
We ate the last of it yesterday.
First thing tomorrow, the breadmaker is going back on.
I wrote yesterday's blog post.
Hubby and son came back.
Unpacked the shopping.
Time for tea!
