The Red Light Gets Stuck, Then The U-Turns Start!

The most beautiful words in the English language are, "Cheque enclosed." - Dorothy Parker.
Welcome to my Friday Feeling 🎈
We were up early to do the Heardles
Heardle 60s:
My answers:
Breakfast and Brew.
The Thermal vest goes on as well as lots of layers.
Gets the big winter coat on and leaves the house.
Nice moon shot.
Gives hubby a sloppy wet one πŸ’‹before I leave.
I went a different way because of the Traffic lights.
The car park wasn't open where I normally park.
Then I was stuck in the queue of the traffic lights that was stuck on red!
So I parked around the corner.
On goes the winter hats, gloves and winter coat.
I had ten minutes to turn on my lights.
I will get my newspaper when I finish.
Now to hurry up and turn on the lights.
Right let's get to work...🍭
With the traffic lights stuck on red.
It was gridlock.
The other traffic lights were working.
Cars were doing U-turns, stopping in the Keep Clear space.Bedlam again!
Everyone was looking at me if this is my fault!
I was glad to finish in one piece!
Fetches my newspaper.
Back to Sexy Beast
Meets up with my friend, as I am collecting a free ottoman.
Collects it, it fits in Sexy Beast.
I said, "See you later and thanks for the ottoman."
Back home.
The Council are clearing out the shed now.
I put on my coffee machine.
In need of this...
As my friend arrives for coffee, I ask the Council removal men, "If they have cleared the loft?"
They said "No."
"Oh dear, there is nearly 50 years of stuff up there, as well wildlife!"
They just carried on clearing out the shed.
My friend and I carried on having chat and coffee.
I had so many nice things come via the postman.
I thanked my friend for coming round.
Wished her a good weekend.
Now onto lunch I go.
Back out for the final shift of the week.
The traffic lights wasn't on, but still holding up all the traffic. I managed to get a space.
On goes the winter hat, gloves, and winter hat.
Now to put on my lights.
Once I put on my lights, I got my big stick.
I waited in the square for my friends to arrive.
Only one friend came, but still had a good rabbit.
The low lying sun is going to be a pain again.
I wished my friend a good weekend.
Oh dear, here we go again.
The queue of traffic on my side wasn't moving due to the failed traffic light.
People were still stopping in the Keep Clear space!
I was to finish in one piece!
Back home.
At least next door's shed has now been emptied.
The large red oven is still in the kitchen.
Now for a cup of tea.
Then I put the tea on.
Hubby comes back and has a sloppy wet one πŸ’‹
Tea is served up.
Yum!
Now to look in today's newspaper.
