Then it was time to pick up some magic bags.
I bumped into one of the Stepford mums from my sons's First school.
Both her kids are at Uni.
"Isn't it expensive going to Uni?" She said.
"I wouldn't know,"I replied.

*"You moved your boyfriend in a bit quickly, after your husband left!"
My reply was: "Hotel rooms are very expensive!"
She blocked my car in the school car park, so I couldn't get out. When she FINALLY came back to the car, I told her either move it, or I will take it out...

My new boss comes down to see how it is going.
She eyeballs the driver that tried to take me out in the road last Monday.
She tells me to lower my stick a bit lower.
My big stick is low enough.
Some cars just goes under my raised stick.
My boss can't believe it!
I just rolled my eyes.
Finished in one piece.
I said goodbye to my boss.
Now to get some cake....
I pick up the newspaper on the way home.

My friend arrives.

A good yak for 2 hours.

I waved my friend goodbye.
Time to warm up the soup!

Good job I could use my neighbour's half of the drive to get off the drive!
Some bad drivers I had to put up with getting to work. In the wrong lane, going down to 20 m.p.h in 40 limit, then tried to block me off at the traffic island. I was glad to be turning left!
No low lying sun to worry about.

One friend didn't turn up.

Some Singers that have died this month, that I missed:
Richard Dean Taylor was a Canadian musician, most notable as a singer, songwriter, and record producer for Motown during the 1960s and 1970s. According to Jason Ankeny, Taylor was "one of the most underrated acts ever to record under the Motown aegis.
He died on the 7th January 2022 aged 82
Clive Robin Sarstedt was a British pop music singer and instrumentalist best known for his UK hit "My Resistance Is Low", a cover of a song written and originally recorded by Hoagy Carmichael. He was the younger brother of musicians Eden Kane and Peter Sarstedt.
He died a day after his Birthday 22/1/22
He was 78 years old 🎈
