No Kippers But Plenty Of Nets

Never sweep. After four years the dirt gets no worst. Quentin Crisp

Welcome to December!
I was up early to listen to "The Sounds of the 60's"
We listened to the rest of the show in a nice warm bed.
After getting up and having breakfast.
It was time to upgrade the house a little bit.
Net curtains and tidying up bedrooms was top of the list.
Time for some fresh air!

We managed to get a parking space.
First stop was my Dunelm Experience.
Picked up net curtains and net curtain wire.
Next stop was to get some top up shopping in Lidl.
Robot vacuum cleaner↓

 Much prefer my Henry...↓
 Bongo time!
 Much prefer my Kenny :)↓
Pops in to see my dad for an hour.
Enjoyed a good coffee↓
Gets back home to continute upgrading the house.
My older son had some nice blue net curtains.
My younger son had some nice green and white net curtains.
We had some nice blue bird net curtains in the small window.
 After we finished tea.
It was time to relax....
I put another internet order for some more net curtains for the huge stairs window.
(As the nets have not been changed for 8 years!!!)
It was ready for 10 to 6pm.
However I was in my PJ's and the shop shuts at 6pm...
However it was ready at
We bought this particular film a few months ago...

It was a very good film.
So good, I have ordered the second film...↓
 and another film,
we missed when it came out on the cinema.

I had quick look at the Birthdays...
Matt Monro: English singer, (Born Free,From Russia With Love) would have been 88 years

Keith Michell: American actor and theatre director (6 Wives of Henry VIII) would have been 92.
(He died in 2015)

Anton Rodgers: British actor (Fresh Fields, May to December) died at the age of 74 in 2007.
John Lennon & Yoko Ono: release
"Happy Xmas (War is Over)" in US in 1971.

Now to clean up the house.
With the aid of Henry...
 Washing machine went on.
Checked what colour bins need to be put out on Thursday....
Light lunch..
Now out into a cold blast of cold....

While I was enjoying the warmth of the Sexy Beast, I looked at today's Birthdays...

With the dark clouds coming over.
I took a chance to leave my rain mac in the boot...
As normal, I got the weather wrong.
*I got a bit wet....*
Must remember to wear the Winter hat,
as thermal knickers can only do so much to keep the body warm!!
Now to warm up with...↓↓
In the readiness of tonight's meal.
I made a Steak and Kidney pie..
I didn't get chance to take a photo of the fruit pie I made....
