Escaping To The Sofa

"A father carries pictures where his money used to be."
- Steve Martin
Father's Day
It's going to be a Father's kind of day!
Hubby got his card off our kids...

Now for hug and brew↓
 Followed by breakfast.
Everyone gets up, and dressed.
Out of the house↓
Off to see my dad with his balloon🎈
Then off to see my Father- in- Law....
The sun was out,
Then the clouds came along...

 Hubby with his dad↓

Off to look at the Band Stand↓
We dropped off hubby's dad off at home.
The clouds were gathering above the house when we got home↓
 Nice light lunch outside↓

 Until it started to rain.
Back in the house we go.
My youngest son had baked a Cherry Cake for his science project for school↓
The cherries were off our cherry tree in the garden.
Snooze time...
Followed by
then
Top of the Pops from 1989.
Nice steak tea↓
It's a good job we can fast forward some songs from 1989.
Some are just crap....
Black Box was forwarded as it's getting on my nerves...
At least Jive Bunny is back at number 1 again↓
We have 1 more week to catch up with tomorrow.
