When The World Gives You Lemons...

I've been on more laps than a napkin - Mae West
Bank Holiday Monday
Welcome to my Monday 🍥
 Hug with brew.
Breakfast.
Dressed.
I wanted to get the newspaper before it gets really busy with people.
Where has the sun gone?
Out in Sexy Beast we go..
It's now starting to snow ⛄
It's really cold....brrrrrr
Says hello to everyone in the shop when I get my newspaper.
Goes past my dad's, still looking like a public car park...
Back home.
The lawn looks nice :)
The blossom is coming out now on the tree.
Quick coffee before starting on the Easter Cake.
Hubby goes on to put the boarder on the wall in the toilet room.
I have a date with lemons...
I had a little play with Kenny as well.
The sponges were put in the oven to bake.
Hubby had finished putting the boarder up.
Once the cake had cooled down from being in the oven.
Time for some decoration!
Now for a special Afternoon Tea.
(at home)
That was so nice and yummy.
Dishwasher emptied and loaded up.
Plus the washing machine went on 3 times!
I carried on writing yesterday's blog post.
Once that was done and published.
Tea at 3.
I went off to have a nice hot shower!
The curtain rings on the curtain rail above the front door wasn't holding the curtain.....
Nearly 12 years that has been there...
Time for a longer curtain rail that covers the little window and front door!
I ordered one and picking it up tomorrow.
Next on the to do list.
1)Get a new bed for the son that sleeps in the box room.
2) Another mattress for the other son.
As we are not going away on holiday at Whitsun.
Sheds and loft is going to be sorted out too.
We weren't very hungry come teatime.
We had crumpets with grated cheese...
Then we caught up with today's episode of

Enjoying The Sunshine At Home!

The chance of a slice of bread falling butter side down is directly proportional to the cost of the carpet - Murphy's Law
We enjoyed a nice lie-in.
We enjoyed warm hugs and a cuppa to start the day↓
Once we had breakfast and got dressed.
We went outside to get a deep breath of fresh air. The sun is shining!
Once hubby starts to mow the lawn.
I have another go at making bread.
I found a ideal book to help!
 On it goes again↓
 The lawn is looking nice↓
The sun is trying to come out↓
The bread has been done \o/
 Light lunch↓
 I done some weeding,
Tidied up the back garden.
Looking well nice↓
 The wind was getting up.
 We had a light tea↓

In Need Of A Good Shake!

The intermediate stage between socialism and capitalism is alcoholism -Norman Brenner
About time it arrived↓
I was awake even before the alarm clock went off....
Half an hour of cuddling..
Then it's up ↗↗↗↗
Superman t-shirt put on...
Now for the important cup of tea...↓
 I look at the weather...
Rain is forecasted...
I gave everyone sloppy 💋💋💋 before I left the house.
 Where has the rain gone?

I put on the waterproof trousers,
Just in case it does rain..
 Lets the chaos start....
The blue van with a trailer pulled up on the double yellow lines again...↓
The bus couldn't get to the bus stop.So dropped off its passengers behind the trailer.
Then the bus went on the wrong side of the road as it couldn't get past the van!
There was a lorry delivering supplies to the supermarket further down the road.
Traffic was everywhere...
The van then reversed the trailer on the driveway, blocking the road.
Then as it reversed back on to the pavement, it nearly knocked down a parent and his son!
I just shook my head in disbelief.
Then the van moved off the lines and parked over the road...
Now I can see up the road!
Then the non-stopping starts!
Some people have too much Friday Feeling🎈
I finish in one piece.
Now for more singing....
My B3 space is still free for me!
 Now for some Webbs Experience..

Coffee,nibble and yak time↓
I said goodbye to my friend.
More singing to do on the way to work↓
 Quick look at the newspaper↓
Tom Conti is 78 years old 🎈
I looked across the fields of fun↓
Guess who left her rain mac in the Sexy Beast?
I might have had a red face when I got finished, I cooled down in the rain...
More, more singing along in the rain on the way home↓
Rain time↓

 I'm in need of coffee!
Back out in the sexy trousers↓
 Time to shake it...
 Is it going to rain???
Of course it did....
It was getting dark and wet..
I finished in one piece..
Back home...
Nice trail of rain water to the front door!
Then off to Happy Place Of Work..
with more music..
 I gets back...
The bird says the pie is ready!
We catch up on some more↓
I was slowly morphing into the settee..
Time to move my arse...to my final job with some good music↓
 Once finished...
The steaming hot boots were took off....
 I morphed into the settee...
One more of
Then to drag my tired arse and a tired hubby off to squeeze the last drops of the Friday Feeling 🎈
