A Very Cold Hump!

My toughest fight was with my first wife - Muhammad Ali
Welcome to my Hump of the Week 🐫
I had great night's sleep under that warm duvet cover!
Warm hug with brew.
Breakfast.
Thermal vest going back on .....
Dressed.
I had covered up Sexy Beast thinking there was going to be frost....
(I looked out of the window and it had just finishing raining!)
Uncovers Sexy Beast.
I gives hubby a sloppy wet 💋before leaving.
At least the sun was out, but it was freezing!
On goes the winter coat, hat and gloves...
Turns on my lights.
Now let's do it....🍭
Most car drivers were stopping, I had the odd few that I had to give the BOING to with my stick.....
Most just look at me when they don't stop!
At least I finished in one piece.
I got the newspaper and my neighbour's magazine on the way home.
The coffee machine was put on.
I have so much to do in so little time to do it!
Emptied all the bins in the house.
(Ran out of swing bin liners, added it to the shopping list for hubby later)
Tumble Drier went on.
My fabric order finally arrived that had been sent out on October 14th, the first delivery firm lost it, and now has been sent out!
My large cutting matt also arrived with some Christmas fabric.
I noticed in this week's Advertiser, one  former Manager from Royal Mail has died.
I worked under him in the early 1990s.
I just got half of my blog wrote from yesterday.
I ran out of time as dinnertime arrived.
Lunchtime.
I finished off my third cup of coffee with my lunch.
Now for round 2.
On went the winter coat, gloves and winter hat.
I put my lights on.
One half of where I stand, there was sunshine, the other side had really black clouds!
I chatted with my 2 friends until I started my shift.
The clouds were getting blacker by the minute.
All the parents thought it was going to rain!
Lucky for me it kept off!
Some cars were just blately going under my stick,
Boing time!
I finished in one piece.
The dark clouds faded to grey ones.
Now back home..
I got the tea ready, and put it in the oven.
Time for a much needed brew!
Hubby came back just after I dished up the tea.
(He had to warm his up in the microwave)
We put on the number 2's from 1989....
One good song came on...
(I know it word for word!)
Quick look in the newspaper.
Anthony  Donegan MBE  known as Lonnie Donegan, was a British skiffle singer, songwriter and musician, referred to as the "King of Skiffle", who influenced 1960s British pop and rock musicians. Born in Scotland and raised in England, Donegan began his career in the British trad jazz revival but transitioned to skiffle in the mid 1950s, rising to prominence with a hit recording of the American folk song "Rock Island Line" which helped spur the broader UK skiffle movement.
Donegan had 31 UK top 30 hit singles, 24 being successive and three at number one. He was the first British male singer with two US top 10 hits. Donegan received an Ivor Novello lifetime achievement award in 1995 and, in 2000, he was made an MBE.
He died on this day in 2002 aged 71.
We watched a couple of episodes of Kenny Everett...
