Too Much Of The Little Things!

There is no such thing as a little garlic - Arthur Baer
Welcome to my Sunday 💓
Breakfast with Brew.
Dressed.
Out for a little ride.
Hubby fills up his car with fuel.
Then onto see my mum and dad.
*Spooky Alert*
We were at the end of the line of graves.
No one around and we heard a woman cough.
Nobody was around and we both heard it!
Slowly back to the car.
We go to get hubby's tyres pumped up.
One woman was dragging it out so no one could use her spare minutes of air.
Hubby pumped up his tyres.
Coffee and nibble time.
Then back home.
Washing machine went on.
Dishwasher was unloaded and loaded up.
Hubby started to collect all the old branches from under our living room and take them down the tip.
I wrote Friday's blog post.
Light lunch.
Then wrote yesterday's blog post.
Hubby was getting quotes for a new gravestone for the six relations buried in the burial plot.
I might carry on writing June blog posts as this week, I have full Council Meeting on Tuesday night, and got to make two cakes for the Bake off on Friday:
I had a light lunch.
Then I went back to writing 3 more blog posts from June.
Hubby got on with the tea.
I made the stuffing.
Just finished writing a July blog post when tea was ready.
Now to catch up with Priscilla....
We had  45 minutes left to watch.
Next up
Oh dear, I can't get the time back for watching this....not recommended this one.

Enjoying The Friday Feeling!

If you have to ask the price, you can't afford it - J.P Morgan
Welcome to my Friday Feeling 🎈
Warm hug with brew.
Breakfast.
I gives hubby a wet one 😘 before he goes off to work.
Dressed.
Now for a little ride in Sexy Beast.
Some great songs to listen to....
I picks up the newspaper on the way.
Plenty of singing along....
I gets my B3 space.
Now to have a look about!
I asked someone if they had Black Eye Susan Vine plant in.
They answered,"No."
He later said,"Once they die, they don't come back the following year!"
Funny, Google says different, when I looked yesterday. I will just grow my own from seed next year!
They look nice...
I wonder how much they are?
Wow!
Now time for chat, coffee and nibble!
Had a good chat!
On the way back to the car, I saw a someone I used to work with. Last February (2020) we had a conversation about me not being happy at work.
She replied to it by saying,"Well go then!"
(I finally did this March!)
I asked a member of staff if I could have a spare wood pallet.
"No, they either get reused or sent back!"
The skip was full of them!
Back to Sexy Beast for more singing on the way home!
Back home.
I wrote a review of the guest house we stopped in last weekend. Highlighthing the fact the lock didn't work and we had to put the chair up against the door!
Lunchtime.
Now to write yesterday's blog.
Tea at 3.
The chicken went into the oven for tea later.
Hubby came home for a sloppy wet one 💋
Chicken was ready and now to serve it up!
Afterwards, hubby and younger son went to do the food shopping, and pop in to see if hubby's dad was alright.
I had a quick look in today's newspaper.
"Roman Holiday", starring Audrey Hepburn, Gregory Peck, and Eddie Albert, is released on this day in 1953.

1964 Walt Disney's "Mary Poppins" directed by Robert Stevenson, starring Julie Andrews and Dick Van Dyke premieres in Los Angeles.
Hubby and younger son comes back, just in time to watch the James Bond film on ITV4.
This is my favourite Pierce Brosnan's James Bond film.
I love  Robbie's Coltrane's character!
Sleep tea time.
All ready for the Bank Holiday Weekend!

Counting To Ten!

I'm not a snob.Ask anyone. Well,anybody who matters.
- Simon LeBon
Welcome to my Sunday 👾
Warm hug with brew.
Breakfast.
Had a lie-in listening to the radio in bed.
After a while, it's time to get up!
I need a few items for tonight's meal.
I'm giving Asda a miss and trying Morrisons.
Taking Sexy Beast out for a ride.
We only needed 8 items.
It was so packed with people, that each till that was open, that was a queue of 10+ people down in each aisle. We were in the queue for the self service. People were thinking it was a  good idea to jump in front of us who were queueing!
By the time we got to the front of the queue, I had enough of the queue jumpers....
"The queue for this till is at the back of that long queue:"I said.
Pointing to the long queue behind me.
Three people took the hint.
As we unloaded our shopping onto the belt, a couple with their grown up daughters jumped ahead of the queue and unloaded their shopping on the next self service till. The man with the earphones tried to get into the act, until I told him where the actually queue was!
I was so glad to get out of there.
This was worst than shopping at Christmas!
Surely there are limits on how many customers you can have in a store!
I got a takeaway coffee and the woman serving me, told me:
"People were queueing up since 9.30am to get in here!"
Get's back to Sexy Beast, to enjoy the lovely coffee!
Finally back home!
Light lunch without soup today!
Now to start on the dessert for tonight.
I tried not to repeat what I did last week with the lemons....
Once done, let it set in the fridge.
Just in time for Tea at 3.
I wrote yesterday's blog post
&
Added some great tunes for my Jukebox on Twitter too.
Tea was served up.
I went to serve up the dessert,
When trying to take off the cling film...
It was crash!
Good job I had spares!
Lemon Posset!
Quick read of today's newspaper.
