Stripping Off The Layers!

One can never be too thin or too rich - Wallis Simpson
Welcome to my Tuesday 💪
Nice big warm hug to start the day with.
Followed by brew and breakfast.
Thermal vest goes on.
Now to unwrap Sexy Beast.
The sun might be out,
but it's well cold.
I gives hubby a sloppy wet one before I leave.
The big big sunglasses goes on.
As well as two hats and warm gloves.
I turns on my lights.
Now time to Rock 'n' Roll.
Where has all the traffic gone?
It is so quiet for a change!
The normal black car with the granddad driving his granddaughter goes straight under my raised stick....Limbo dancer I call it.
He never stops....
I actually stopped the yellow Fiat car that normally never stops, this time I was in the middle of road with my big stick on her side of the road.
I finished in one piece.
Off to get some milk...
I did a bit of shopping in Lidl.
Nipped into Dunelm, had a look around.
The Only thing I got my favourite kitchen cleaner:
Method.
Gets the newspaper on the way home.
Puts the coffee machine on.
Now to strip of the bed clothes.
I put on another teddy duvet and teddy sheet.
On top of the 16 tog duvet cover.
We should be well warm!
Loaded up the dishwasher.
Cleaned the kitchen.
Put on the soup maker on for new batch.
Coffee time.
Lit some incense and tried to meditate.
Felt better after that!
Soup time!
Finished off the soup that was in the fridge.
Now for part two...
Time for those big big sunglasses again.
I took off one winter hat, but kept on my gloves.
Turned on my lights.
Walked back to Sexy Beast.
Getting well warm.
Off goes jumper, scarf, and gloves.
I couldn't take nothing else off.
Goes and waits by the bench for my friends.
My friends appeared.
Time for a little rabbit...
Said goodbye to my friends.
The family who had a visit from the Police last Friday, left in a red car.
20 minutes two nurses were at there door trying to get in. I shouted over they had left a little earlier. One nurse came over and told her they all left about 20 minutes. She thanked me for giving her the heads up.
The normal fun I had for giving out BOINGs.
One boy racer went past and could feel the burn I was giving out, he mouthed something at me, I mouthed "Afternoon" back to him!
I finished in one piece.
Home time.
Much needed brew needed.
I got on writing yesterday's blog post.
Half way through writing it, I put the tea on.
Hubby came home.
He had a sloppy wet one.
Dished up out Pasta dish.
Finished writing my blog after tea.
Had a quick look in today's newspaper.

Road Trip Time.
We get our keys for our room.
Not before the Receptionist asks,
"If I'm alright with the stairs???"
Goes up two flights of stairs to room.
Wow a nice bit of room!

The view from our window.↑↑
Now down to have very early tea.
Gets a settee to sit on.
(Found out later on how much the above drinks were, next time we are having water!)
One of the books on the bookshelf,
My late dad had↓
Once we finished.
We had a look about the hotel
We tried to ask the receptionist for a bath mat, she wasn't there.
Back to our room to email to have a bath mat for our room.
Coffee time.
Then we get ready to leave and watch the Manfreds at the Rose Theatre.
Tried to get a UBER taxi, no such luck.
Took the car instead.
Found a car park.
Picked up the tickets and went to our seat.
As I was on the end, I delayed sitting in my seat due to the amount of people that was sitting in our row.
Two women behind were discussing spotting a woman wearing the same coat as one of them.
Here is a picture of what the coat kind of looked like.
As soon as I sat down, two women appeared to sit in the same aisle as us.
I gets up.
Then I sit down.
I put on my facemask to watch the first half.
Break time.
In need of a drink it was so hot in the theatre.
After getting a soft drink, I go down by the doors and Paul Jones are signing things.
I ask him to sign a flyer for the show.
I ask him if he had a good 80th Birthday.
He says,"Yes."
"I did wish you a happy Birthday on Twitter."
No response.
I ask him,if he stops in contact with Manfred Mann.
"I have a thousand times during the 60s"
I said,"No, the man, Manfred Mann!"
No response.
"Why don't he tour in the UK?"
Then a response.
"He is a bigger in Europe than the UK!"
"We enjoyed your show in Birmingham last year," I replied.
"We did as well,"
He then handed back my signed flyer.
I rushed off to the toilet, and hubby took a photo of Paul Jones for me.

They did finally sing "Mighty Quinn" towards the end.
They didn't play "Ha,Ha Said the Clown," or "Semi Detached Suburban Mr James."
Here's one they sung also:
They did play a B-side of one their songs, but what was the A-side song???
They wouldn't say...
They sung:
They went off stage.
They returned to sing:
The End.
We got out coats on and left the theatre.
Back to the hotel.
The road leading up to the hotel was in complete darkness.
Someone was walking down, good job she had a torch.
There was bathmat on the bed when we got back.
Time for nibbles
We watched a little bit of Oceans 13.
Now to use every inch of that lovely bed!
