Got It Sorted At Last!

Welcome to another warm Thursday 👙
Not warm enough to get the Bikini out yet!
Done all the Heardles.

Breakfast and Brew time.
Dressed.
Now to go into the sunshine.
Those Big Big Sunglasses come out.
I gives hubby a sloppy wet one 💋
I get today's newspaper.
On goes the Summer Coat.
Turns on my lights.
Now to Rock 'n'Roll.
One Red BMW came out a side road, and done the limbo dance straight under my big stick!
BOING,BOING,BOING.
Getting warm in this summer coat.
Bottle of iced cold water keeping me cool.
Tomorrow it's going to be well warm...
Finished in one piece.
Back home.
Puts the coffee machine on.
My son's Sixth Form tries to phone me.
I phone them back and they no nothing on the Reception.
Waters all the plants.
Coffee time in the garden.
I changed the winter duvet cover to the one I bought in Blackpool.
Sweating buckets doing it.
It looks like being a double duvet cover instead of a King Size one.
Too hot to do anymore.
Back outside for a much needed ice lolly!
The bottom half drops to the floor before I could get to it!
No liquid lunch today....
It's too hot!
Now it's back out in the sunshine.
On goes the summer coat.
Turns on my lights.
Buys a ice ice lolly.
Fetches my big stick.
Now to find some shade in the park!
Both friends turn up.
Woo Hoo.
Rabbit time!
It was nice and cool in the shade.
Now it was time to do Part 2.
Said goodbye to my friends.
It was getting well warm.
Few BOINGs given out for those cars on the otherside who wouldn't stop for my big stick!
I need a small lollipop to come out of the big lollipop like Alien!
Glad to finish in one piece,
As sweating so much.
Back home.
Hubby was back.
He had a sloppy wet one 💋
Ice ice lolly time...
The Satellite man came to sort out a viewing problems.
Cup of brew time.
Top of the tree had to come off.
We now have television!
Hubby paid the man.
We then went up to Dunelm and Lidl.
Got a right bargain!
It looks nice on the bed!
Tea time.
Sourdough Pizza. 
Yum.

Trying To Catch Up!

Welcome to my Thursday 💪
Nice hug with brew.
Breakfast.
Dressed.
I got one son up for school.
I gave out plenty of wet sloppy 💋💋💋 
Now out....
Where has the sun gone?
The Summer coat went on.
It was really warm already.
Now for the fun to start...🎈
Most car drivers did stop, I did hear some gums banging a few times....
Oh dear, how sad, nevermind.
I finished in one piece.
Back home.
I gave the kitchen floor a mop.
Plus the washing machine went back again.
Now to try and get the blog updated....
I got last Friday, Saturday and Sunday wrote....
All the way to lunchtime.
I watched Hotel Inspector....
Now back out into the sunshine...
It is so warm, glad I took a bottle of water with me.
Everyone was stopping for me for once...
(I hope it carries on for tomorrow)
I finished in one piece.
I chattered with the caretaker of where I park my car.
One parent had parked their car in there
(They are not supposed to)
He closed the one gate to go in.
He was was giving them a bit of time to move the car or once the other gate is closed.
It's £50 to open the gate.
Back home.
A much needed lolly to have.
I carried on getting the blog updated.

Linda Ronstadt  is a retired American singer who performed and recorded in diverse genres including rock, country, light opera, and Latin. She has earned 10 Grammy Awards, three American Music Awards, two Academy of Country Music awards, an Emmy Award, and an ALMA Award. Many of her albums have been certified gold, platinum or multiplatinum in the United States and internationally. She has also earned nominations for a Tony Award and a Golden Globe award. She was awarded the Latin Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award by the Latin Recording Academy in 2011 and also awarded the Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award by the Recording Academy in 2016. She was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in April 2014. On July 28, 2014, she was awarded the National Medal of Arts and Humanities. In 2019, she received a star jointly with Dolly Parton and Emmylou Harris on the Hollywood Walk of Fame for their work as the group Trio. Ronstadt was among five honorees who received the 2019 Kennedy Center Honors for lifetime artistic achievements. 
She is 75 years old 🎈
Paul Young  was a British singer and songwriter. He achieved success in the bands Sad Café and Mike + the Mechanics. 
He sadly died aged 53 in 2000.

Making Sure It Still Works!

Breakfast.
Dressed.
One son is doing his boxing lesson this morning.
The other son is helping out Joe to get elected back on the Council, on May 6th.
Sunshine time!
Big big sunglasses time!
Drops off son at his boxing lesson.
Check tyre pressures on Sexy Beast. 
Puts more petrol in for the week.
Then we swaps cars....
Sun is still shining \o/
Hubby drops off one son to help Joe.
Hubby checks his tyre pressures.
We then picks up a sweaty son from his boxing lesson.
Time to visit my parents to have a chat with.
It will be 8 years this Saturday when my mum passed away :'(
I am using the yellow planter to put more lavender in, as my younger brother removed the last lot of lavender to put the bench on the grave!
I said goodbye to my parents.
Dropped off sweaty son.
Then off to get some Lavender plants.
It was really busy.
Said hello to Joe's husband, Pete who was also there.
Back home with the lovely Lavender plants.
I had washed all the cleaning cloths I use at work yesterday.
All dried now.
Now to sort them out in colours!
Bagged them up ready for Tuesday.
Joe dropped back son and we had a chat about things.
Son is going back later to help fold leaflets.
Light lunch in the garden...
It started to spit with rain,
Back into house we go.
I am taking my basic sewing machine for sewing machine lessons next Saturday.
Blew the dust of it and made sure it still worked!
It all works...
Washing machine back on again.
So is the Tumble Drier.
(Not like last weekend when all the washing dried in the warm sunshine!)

I set to record a good film on Talking Pictures later on in the evening.
Lesley  Goldstein , known professionally as Lesley Gore, was an American singer, songwriter, actress, and activist. At the age of 16 (in 1963), she recorded the pop hit "It's My Party" (a US number one), and followed it up with other hits, including the hit "You Don't Own Me", and seven further Billboard top 40 hits.
She would have been 75 years old 🎈
She sadly died aged 68 in 2016.
Oliver Reed  was an English actor known for his upper-middle class, macho image and "hellraiser" lifestyle. Notable films include The Trap (1966), Oliver! (1968), Women in Love (1969), Hannibal Brooks (1969), The Devils (1971), portraying Athos in The Three Musketeers (1973) and The Four Musketeers (1974), playing a Teddy Boy in Tommy (1975), The Brood (1979), Lion of the Desert (1981), Castaway (1986), The Adventures of Baron Munchausen (1988), Funny Bones (1995) and Gladiator (2000). For playing Antonius Proximo, the old, gruff gladiator trainer in Ridley Scott's Gladiator in what was his final film, Reed was posthumously nominated for the BAFTA Award for Best Actor in a Supporting Role in 2000. At the peak of his career, in 1971, British exhibitors voted Reed 5th most popular star at the box office.
He sadly died on this day in 1999 aged 61
