Welcome to my wet Saturday ☂
It's not fault for rain,
I haven't been singing that much!
Breakfast and Brew time.
We listened to "Sounds of the 60s"

It's going to be a wet day.
On goes the waterproof shoes, rain mac and rain hat!
Now to leave the house, armed with my pink shopping trolley!
Road trip time.
We popped into the Droitwich Lions Sale.
I picked up 3 Dvds.
Visited another Charity Shop and bought some nice bits.
We moved the car around the corner.
Still raining.
Now off to look around the Charity Shops.
Half way round, we had a coffee.
We looked in the 3 remaining Charity Shops.
Back to the car in an hour and 20 minutes.
Off to lidl to do some shopping....
Got shopping loaded up in the car.
Back home.
Unpacked the car.
The bargains I got today↓
Liquid lunch time.
Back out to a Charity Event.
Walks past my Lollipop Spot...
Nipped into the Charity Shop to say hi to everyone.
Saw my mate the Parking Attendant who I greeted with a big hug.
We walked around to the Charity Event.
No where to sit down for a coffee.
Won some hand gel on the raffle.
Back to the car in the rain.
The rain mac goes off.
Gets on with making tonights tea.
In the oven it goes...
Cup of brew time...
Now to watch some telly....
Tea time.
Another film to watch...↓
Really good film :)

Road Trip Out To Droitwich!

Nice warm hug...
Brew with breakfast.
No thermal vest needed.
Out of the house we go.
With my big big sunglasses ..
Drops off son at work.
Then off on our road trip we go...

I got some sewing books.
Hubby made a new friend, and I had to call him to get away from him.
Off to look in the charity shops for more bargains.
Coffee and nibble time.
Off to look in more Charity Shops.
Nice sewing machine
Got more things to wear at the upcoming Funeral.
Nice picture frame of flowers.
Goes back to the car a few times.
Says goodbye to Droitwich...

Glass Octopuss
Time to feed the ducks and geese.
Time to another coffee and nibble..↓
YUM!
Now on the way back home.
Back out in Sexy Beast to check it's tyre pressures.
Back home to unpack all the bargains I got today.
Hubby starts on the tea.
Whereas I catch up with both blogs.
Publishes the first small blog post.
Tea time! 
Then I wrote 6 blog entries for this blog.
It is was getting late so hubby went to bed.
I have another 6 more to get the blog updated!

Using That Fast Forward Button Too Much!

Nice warm hug.
Now to listen to Sounds of the 60s with our brew and breakfast.

Today is the second anniversary of my lovely dad passing away :'(
I will go up to see my parents later.
On goes the thermal vest.
Tells son to get a move on, as he will be late for work!
Drops off son.
Drops off Birthday Card at my friend's house.
Then off to Droitwich, to visit the Droitwich Lions.
Got some bowls and glasses↓
Visited the near-by Charity Shop.
Nothing was in there.
We moved the car to the next car park.
We popped into 4 charity shops.
Then it was into Wilkinsons, Morrisons, The Works, Coffee No1.
Then back to the car with our bargains.
Nipped into Waitrose to get my free newspaper.
Then back home!
Unpacked our bargains.
Finished off the last of the soup.
Now off to do week 3 of the Crystal and Tarot Course.
Really enjoyed it!
Used my new Tarot Cards I bought from the Works. 
Once finished.
Off to see my mum and dad.
I put a balloon on their grave.
Back home.
Had a much needed cup of coffee!
Then to catch up with this week's televison.
Top of the Pops from 1992.
That fast forward button was kept busy.
One great song was on there↓↓
Shakespears's Sister was still number 1↓
(Didn't help TOTP's cut the video off before we got to the middle of the song!)
Next episode.
Fast forward time again.
I reminded my youngest son, where his middle name came from.....
Genesis was up next.
(A bit slow for me)
I prefer the last single.....↓

We watched The Apprentice.

Barrett Strong  is an American singer and songwriter. Strong was the first artist to record a hit for Motown, although he is best known for his work as a songwriter, particularly in association with producer Norman Whitfield. He is 81 years old 🎈

Sweet rationing in Britain finished on this day in 1953, imposed during WW2, finally ended. Children all over Britain headed straight to the nearest sweet-shop, as the first unrationed sweets went on sale. Toffee apples were the biggest sellers on the first day.
