Nutcracker Moments!

Welcome to my wet Saturday ☔
9 Years ago, I started my first time as a Lollipop Lady.
I was made redundant after 4 years.
Year off.
Then back to be a Lollypop lady again in a different area.
My 4th Anniverday of that job is tomorrow \o/
Breakfast and Brew.
Dressed.
We listened to "The Sounds of the 60s"
UK Top 3 from 1967.

1: The Foundations - Baby, Now That I've Found You
Rain mac on.
Off to Droitwich we go...
We first park up and go in to visit the Droitwich Lions. Loads of books we got.
We then moved the car.
Off to explore Droitwich.
Now to look in the Charity Shops.
Off to have a coffee and nibble↓
We nipped into Waitrose for a look...
£65.
£13
Back to the car.
Drove to Lidl's.
Done food shopping.
I nipped into B&M.
Nutcracker time!
On the way back home, hubby got some new wipers for his car.
Home time.
Unpacked all my bargains↓↓
Light lunch.
Tea at 3.
We caught up with 3 more episodes of Hell's Kitchen.
We had a nice tea.
Looked into today's newspaper.
Then we watched "Sly".
Brilliant!
Next was James Whale.
We watched up to Headliners.
Sleep Tea Time.
Off to a warm bed with a even warmer hubby.

Road Trip to Droitwich!

We listened to the "Sounds of the 60s" in bed.

Now for Breakfast and Brew.
The thermal vest went back on!
Opened the curtains....
The sun is back \o/
We got the trolley ready.
Now to leave the house...
Now off to Droitwich Spa.
We parked just over the road.
Now to visit the Lions.
We said hello to everyone.
Bought some nice stuff.
Said we have three boxes full of books to give them, when they get low on books.
Wished them a Happy Christmas.
We moved onto the next Charity Shop whose system went down, couldn't accept cards,so I had to dig deep for £7 in cash.
Back to the car and to move it to the Waitrose Car park.
The church on the hill.
We visited two more Charity shops.
The third one had a good song playing in the shop, and we had to sing along with it...

Then off for a coffee to warm up!
Then more Charity Shops to explore.
Salvation Army Band was out playing some great Christmas Tunes.
Next stop was to pick up some bits in Waitrose.
There was a brass band playing out the front.

I nipped into the final Charity Shop and found a Frank Ifield signed album!
I found out the story behind the album cover.
Let's have a little bit of Frank Ifield shall we?
Back home to unload all the bargains!
Light lunch...
Then we go out to put a wreath on my parent's grave.
Back home.
I put the tea on.
Then we did today's Heardle.

Now to watch some things on Netflix.
Then we watched 7 episodes of 
A Killer's Mistake.
The 4th series of 
I Am A Killer is coming out on December 21st.

The Christmas Tree is coming out tomorrow 🎅
