Happy Tunes Needed!

If anything can go wrong, it will - Murphy's Law
Welcome to a really sad Friday Feeling 🎈
First my neighbour passes away.
Then our Queen does :(
There was no music playing on the local radio station we listen to.
Decided to do the Heardle instead.
Heardle 60s:
My answers:
Time to listen to a happy playlist while having brew with breakfast.
Dressed.
Time to leave.
I gives hubby a sloppy wet one 💋 before I leave.
On goes the 70s CD I bought last week.
I need happy tunes!
Lucky Stars went on 3 times....
Sang along!
Followed by:
The Queen's death was the only topic everyone was talking about in the Newsagent's shop when I got my newspaper.
Got into my Summer coat, and went to turn on my lights.
Turned my lights on.
Let's get ready to go to work...
I gave out 3 Boings!
Got chatting to lot of parents.
Some of the car drivers have had too much Friday Feeling.
Finished in one piece.
Got chatting to a parent further up the road.
One parent snatched my baseball hat, and put it on his head!
"This suits me!" He said.
"I'm going to have wash out the grey dye out of it now!" I laughed and having it back!
I missed a phone call while I was talking.
Once I got back to Sexy Beast.
Phone call about a new boiler!
Woo hoo.
Gets back home.
Coffee machine goes on.
Phones up about new boiler.
They are sending someone out to look at the old one.
Empties the Airing Cupboard.
Empites the gas cupboard.
Coffee time.
The Inspector comes.
Tells me what needs to be moved for the scaffording to go up, and everything in the way of the rads upstairs needs to moved out of the way.
The date is confirmed. Hubby has booked a day off work, as I will be at work when they arrived to do the job.
After he went.
I had my lunch early.
Now to go and do the second shift.
Chat's with neighbour's son ex-wife (Second one)
More happy tunes to sing along to.
Goes to put on my lights.
Looks at the flowers for the Queen.
Turns on my lights.
Gets lollipop from shop.
Picks up my big stick.
Now to enjoy my lollipop.
One friend comes for a little rabbit.
As I start my shift, he carries on walking his dog.
Still had to give out four BOINGs.
It's no use putting their hand up when they go past. They should be using their foot to use the brake to stop!
My friend appeared with is dog as soon as I finished.
Back to Sexy Beast we went.
Another 25 minutes of talking to do.
I wished him a good weekend and off I went with a great tune to start with!
Back home.
In need of a brew...
I put the tea in the oven for later.
Starts writing Wednesday's blog.
Hubby comes home for a nice sloppy wet one 💋
Dishes up a nice tea.

One Flash Too Many!

Television is a weapon of mass distraction - Larry Gelbart
Welcome to my Thursday 👍
Brew with a much needed hug.
Breakfast.
Dressed.
It looked pretty cloudy...
Rain is on the way....
I gave hubby a wet sloppy 💋 before I left.
I hoped it was just going to be cloudy.
On goes the summer coat.
Tree Pic.
I put on my lights, now for the fun to start.
The traffic was moving until the Flower lorry.
Some cars are the otherside weren't stopping anytime soon!
At least I finished in one piece!
The rain held off as well!
I picked up the newspaper on the way home.
I put on the coffee maker.
Then I had a nice cold shower!
Now to enjoy the coffee...
I got all my Prima Makes magazines out...
1-24.
I however am missing issue 11.
Finally found it...bid on and won it!
One Ebayer was getting a bit greedy.
I put a offer of £2 for her magazine.
She fired back another offer of £3, saying £2 was too low (even though she put the starting bid of £2)
and she has 3 other watchers.
Fine, let them have it.
I am watching it to see if it goes for £2 or it doesn't sell!
I got yesterday's blog post wrote.
Now for lunch!
Now out for part two.
There was no rain when I left my house, half way to my job it came down.
Parks up Sexy Beast and it stopped.
I go down to look into the Charity Shop before I start.
Picked up a great film for 50p!
Brilliant film!
Now to do up the coat and getting ready for round 2.
I was right hot under the collar for the first 20 minutes.
Then the rain came down and cooled me right down!
I had the normal car drivers that don't understand the word STOP!
Finished for today!
Once I got back to Sexy Beast,  my friend appeared with his dog.
After 50 minutes of chatting, I said Goodbye.
On the way home, I was followed by a small black van, when I nearly reached home.
I signalled to turn right, a skip lorry was at the junction I was turning into,he was waiting to turn right(out of the junction).
As I come up to the lorry, the driver suddenly slammed on his brakes.I looked in my rear view mirror and saw the Black van was flashing at the lorry to go, but I was in the way!I turned right, then the lorry himself turned right and the black van was sat there waiting to get into the road!
One lucky escape!
The rain started again!
Now to put the food in the oven for tea.
I finished watching I survived 9/11 again, I missed some bits the first time round.
I gave hubby a big sloppy wet 💋 when he came home.
Tea was ready!
