Breakfast and Brew time.
Thermal vest goes on.
Gets shopping trolley ready.
Now for a interesting road trip...
First port of call was to see if the Charity Shop was open, as it was closed yesterday.
Got my newspaper on the way down to the Charity shop.
CLOSED!
Hopefully it will be open on Monday!
Back onto the Road Trip.
I will look in there later on.
First to look in the Charity Shops.
Interesting...
Pity they are not my size :(
We visit the Charity shop on one side of the High Street.
We go to a coffee shop.
( I read some of the reviews on Trip Advisor)
We go in and ask if we can sit anywhere?
The owner points to a table right near the till.
(Talk about cramped!)
(The whole room was empty and we could have sat anywhere!)
I ordered an coffee and toast.
Hubby had the fancy Hot Chocolate and toast.
When the toast arrived, it was half done, and didn't even get asked if we wanted any jam with it!
Then the owner was talking to other customers about how Trip Advisor was bad.
(The way I felt, I knew the reviews were not lying)
One customer asked how much scrambled egg on toast was?
"£6.50" came the answer.
"Think I will pass on that!"Said the customer.
We finished, the bill was £12.50.
Felt robbed!
Won't be visiting again.
Looked in the remaining Charity shop.
Lots in there :)
Hubby went back to the car.
I nipped into Waitrose.
Got there £20 meal deal for Valentine's Day.
Back home.
Unpacked my Charity Shop Bargains.
Liquid lunch time.
with
Cup of Coffee.
We finish writing the shopping list.
Back out to do the shopping.
Lidl time.
We did the food shopping.
Back home to unpack it all.
Puts the tea in the oven afterwards.
Heardle time.
Heardle 60s:
My results:

Quick look into the newspaper.
