When It Goes Wrong, It Does!

Say you're sorry. No one says you have to mean it - Jeff Green
Welcome to my Saturday Fun 🌹
A lovely hug is what was ordered!
Brew with Breakfast.
Now to get dressed.
(No thermal vest needed)
Out we go...
First stop was....
Sainsburys↓
We got a self-service scanner.
However the price of the binders was £2.50 on the scanner, funny it was £1.50 on the shelf.
One man Sale Assistant in a suit says, it will correct itself at the till....
Yeah right!
Goes to the till, and we were charged £2.50!
Then the voucher for the i got stuck in the coupon slot.
On goes the red light...
That was sorted.
After paying for the things,
I went to the customer service desk,
And got a £3 refund!
Now off to see my mum and dad.
I gave them the some new flowers.
Had a catch up with what had been happening for the past week!
Then off for a coffee....
It was nice to sit outside...
Then the wind got up and it was freezing cold...
Back inside we go...
Afterwards we go and look around the reduced plant stand.
We goes inside to pay for them, when suddenly on the sound system comes:
We walked back outside until it finished.
The Sales Assistant on the till says:
"Music effects people in different ways"
Back home with the flowers!
As we got some nice wind...
Out comes the lollipop coats to dry on the line.
The man on the fence was being kept busy in the wind...
Sorting through some more late Father-in-law's Christmas Present lists↓
Sets up another blog to write until I get this published after the funeral.

Waiting For The Bird To Sing...

A dad is someone you should look up to no matter how tall you grow - Unknown
It was so nice to wake up with hubby....
He had the week off work and getting up early was no longer a choice...
We had cuddles before we got out of the warm bed....
Plus tea....
We got up,
Opened all the windows,
Got kids up....
We did a quick walk to fetch the newspaper

That's better!
Then off to see my Dad.
He was having a visit from the Doctor as his chest infection wasn't clearing up....
 Nice cup of coffee↑
 What we used before Internet!
My brother's Birthday card still unopened...↑
(His Birthday was on the 23rd February)
While tidying up my dad's living room I came across a Johnny Cash tour programme from 1972↓
While my hubby stayed with dad,
I got ready to go to work↓
 Where has the sun gone?????
 When I got back,
I made a Beef,mushroom pie.
Hubby came back,
His part of the pie didn't touch the sides!
It was a quite a sad day for my hubby...
It was the 23rd anniversary of his mum passing away..:(
We are going over to see his dad in Kidderminster tomorrow as his dad is celebrating his 74th Birthday...
Another film to watch....
I had a quick look at the Birthdays...
Roy  Orbison : was an American singer, songwriter, and musician known for his impassioned singing style, complex song structures, and dark, emotional ballads. The combination led many critics to describe his music as operatic, nicknaming him "the Caruso of Rock" and "the Big O". While most male rock-and-roll performers in the 1950s and 1960s projected a defiant masculinity, many of Orbison's songs instead conveyed vulnerability. During performances, he was known for standing still and solitary and for wearing black clothes to match his dyed jet-black hair and dark sunglasses; all of this lent an air of mystery to his persona.
He would have been 83 years old.
(He died aged 52 in 1988)
Lee Majors : is an American film, television and voice actor. Majors is best known for portraying the characters of Heath Barkley in the American television Western series The Big Valley (1965–1969), Colonel Steve Austin in the American television science fiction action series The Six Million Dollar Man (1973–1978), and Colt Seavers in American television action series The Fall Guy (1981–1986).
He is 80 years old.
John Miles (born John Errington): Is a British rock music vocalist, songwriter, guitarist and keyboard player, best known for his 1976 Top 3 UK hit single, "Music". He won the "Outstanding Musical Achievement" award at the 2017 Progressive Music Awards.
He is 70 years old.
Sir John Mills, CBE (born Lewis Ernest Watts Mills: was an English actor who appeared in more than 120 films in a career spanning seven decades. On screen, he often played people who are not at all exceptional, but become heroes because of their common sense, generosity and good judgment. He received an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor for his work in Ryan's Daughter (1970).
He died aged 97 in 2005.
