Road Trip Time!

Welcome to a sad Friday Feeling 😔
It is the First Anniversary of hubby's dad passing away.
We now know what happened on the morning he died, thanks to the Ambulance report.
Breakfast and Brew.
Thermal vest and rain mac goes on.
Now to go out for a little ride...
Parks up.
Charity Shop bargain time.
Coffee and nibble time.
We do some shopping in Aldi.
Back home in the rain.
We had a surprise delivery waiting for us.
We delivered it to the right Factory Unit.
Unpacked all my bargains from Kidderminster.
Put two of the items up.
Cup of brew needed.
Now to catch up with some Top of the Pops = 1983

Getting Down To The Friday Feeling!

The first anniversary of my lovely dad passing away :( 💔
Nice warm hug with brew.
Breakfast.
Dressed.
Gets up the kids ready for their on-line learning.
Hubby carries on working from home.
Coffee time!
Now out for a little ride...
I gets the newspaper.
Then to get my order for flowers for my Parents's grave.
Then back home...
Unpacked by order.
Quick read of the newspaper..
Kirk Douglas  was an American actor, producer, director, philanthropist, and writer.
He died aged 103 in 2020.
Christopher  Plummer  was a Canadian actor. His career spanned seven decades, gaining recognition for his performances in film, television, and on the stage.
He died aged 91 on this day in 2021. 
 
Lunchtime.
I then wrote yesterday's blog post.
Tea at 3. 
Once hubby finished work, he and younger son went out to do this week's food shopping 
(And neighbour's shopping too)
I watched a great documentry on Netflix.
Hubby and younger son came back with the shopping.
Time for tea.
Faggots,Mash and Mushy peas.

It's a great series to watch.
It reminded me of what happened to Columbia Space Rocket in 2003 :(
Back to the news.
Our Covid deaths in the UK are still going up :(

Twelve Months Ago....

Welcome to my Hump of the Week 🐫
It's the first anniversary of my accident.
In the morning I was enjoying coffee..↓
By the afternoon I was in a hospital bed, with no achilles tendon attached to the bone, and ankle bone chipped↓
 Twelve months on, 
I am back at work, driving,and can share a bed with a warm hubby....:)
Back to 2018....
 Breakfast in bed↑
 Getting out of the house
 Off to visit the Salvation Charity Shop↑↑
 Someone is glad to see me↑
 It's getting warmer.
 I popped in to see my dad.
Back home with our bargains↓
 
 
 
 
Lunch..↑
 Is a storm coming???
We watched The Apprentice..
 Then I mounted the stairs....
