The Anger Monkey is Back!

He has love bites on his mirror - Kathy Lette
Welcome to my Tuesday 💥
I got up soon as the alarm went off to have a nice hot shower.
The thermal vest went on.
I had a warm hug before breakfast and brew.
I gave hubby a sloppy wet 😘 before I left the house.
I still wore 2 hats and only one glove.
I put on my lights.
Now to walk down to my spot.
I had a chat with one of the mums I cross over before I started.
She told me her dad died yesterday, she was hoping to see him this weekend. I told her I was sorry to hear that.
I stuck my stick out to cross her over the road, when a truck failed to stop and my stick nearly tapped the top of his truck!
I chattered to someone else while waiting for someone to cross over.
I told him to sad news of a lovely postman
(who whenever I bumped to, alway a good chat with) that passed away at the weekend :(
He told me some sad news as well.
One man who lives in his road, is too ill to have a operation, one of his friend's husband had a mini stroke, and another friend he works with has throat cancer.
I stopped Mr Speedy for a second time this week.
As it was getting light, I noticed something over the road, on top of the roof of the old Youth Club.
A Bike with no saddle!
I finished in one piece.
I collected my newspaper, and went to collect my DPD parcel.
As normal the DPD driver doesn't want to deliver to my house. So I rerouted it to Hughes.
Got back home.
Coffee machine went on.
As did the washing machine and tumble drier.
I wrote yesterday's blog post.
I tried again to get my son's second jab booked in on the NHS website.
I got him booked in for next week.
Woo hoo :)
I waiting on the picture frame for my son's completed jigsaw.
It arrived, I passed his the parcel.
Then it all kicked off!
The picture frame was a bit too small for the jigsaw puzzle.
Lots of banging about.
Son came downstairs, trying to find a plaster as he cut his finger trying to fit the jigsaw to the picture frame!
All the things out of the First Aid cupboard was all the over the kitchen!
More banging about, then the front door went bang and off to school he went without a kiss or a goodbye.
My other son came back from school five minutes later, and he tried to shout to his brother, but his brother ignored him and stomped off to school.
I went upstairs to find the jigsaw puzzle.
Picture Frame but no jigsaw.
Just about sums it up↑↑↑↑
Finished the blog post.
Now for lunch.
Now what's behind the Advent Calender Door?
Now for round 2...
I only wore winter hat and one glove.
I walked to put on my lights.
Then I met up with my two friends for a good rabbit....
Oh dear, the low lying sun is back!
I said goodbye to my friends.
Now for the fun to start with the sun.
I had a group of parents and children to cross over when a car just went straight under my stick.
Then my stick went "BOING"
Pretended to hit the car roof.
Everyone found that funny.
Later on a RED BMW was speeding well fast up the road, when my stick came out and lowered it.
He had to brake really fast or I would have tap and cracked his windscreen!
Soon  after that, it was Hometime for me.
Glad I got finished in time with those dark clouds coming over!
Time for a brew.
Son had calmed down when he got back.
He had put the jigsaw back in the box and attempting another one this weekend↓↓
He has his second Covid-19  jab on Saturday afternoon.
Peeled the spuds for tonight's tea.
Had a good yak with my friend.
Stuffing went in, gravy made, vegetables put on.
Hubby came home for a sloppy wet 💋.
Dished up tea.
Then carried on watching series 2 of:
Over Kill.
In 1996, David Barnett murdered his adoptive grandparents, stabbing them over 20 times. Later, he revealed years of abuse at the hands of his father.
An Ordinary Boy
Remorseful about the crime that sent him to prison for life, Leo Little tells the story of the murder he committed in 1998. He is now a minister.
Trapped.
From a women's reformatory in Ohio, Linda Lee Couch talks about the murder of her husband, Walter, in 1984, a killing precipitated by years of abuse.
 Honorable Intentions.
Mark Arthur maintains that he murdered a friend's father on a Houston highway for savagely beating his wife. But police have a different theory.
Pyro Joe
After 24 years on death row, Joseph Murphy saw his sentence commuted a week before his execution due to the extreme abuse he suffered as a child.
Quick look in the newspaper.
Charlie Rich was an American country music singer, songwriter, and musician. His eclectic style of music was often difficult to classify, encompassing the rockabilly, jazz, blues, country, soul, and gospel genres. In the later part of his life, Rich acquired the nickname the Silver Fox. He is perhaps best remembered for a pair of 1973 hits, "Behind Closed Doors" and "The Most Beautiful Girl," which topped the U.S. country singles charts, as well as the Billboard Hot 100 pop singles charts and earned
him two Grammy Awards. Rich was inducted into the Memphis Music Hall of Fame in 2015
He would have been 89 years old 🎈
He sadly died aged 62 in 1995.
Frank Allen (born Francis McNeice,in Hayes, Middlesex, England) is an English bass guitarist who was a long-time member of The Searchers.
Frank Allen played bass guitar with Cliff Bennett and the Rebel Rousers and The Searchers (since 1964 when he replaced original bass guitarist Tony Jackson), and remained with them until they played their final gig in 2019. Allen joined Cliff Bennett and the Rebel Rousers as rhythm guitarist in 1961, and changed over to bass guitar in early 1962, following the departure of Ben Jordan.
When Tony Jackson left the Searchers in August 1964 after a string of hits (including "Sweets for My Sweet", "Sugar and Spice" and "Needles and Pins"), Allen was asked to join the group. They then recorded "When You Walk in the Room", with Mike Pender and Frank Allen singing a dual lead line.
Allen wrote a book of touring recollections called Travelling Man in 1999. His definitive and detailed biography of the Searchers entitled The Searchers And Me - A History of the Legendary Sixties Hitmakers was published in April 2009.
The Searchers retired the band in March 2019.
He is 78 years old 🎈

"Philadelphia" one of the first mainstream films about AIDS, directed by Jonathan Demme, starring Tom Hanks and Denzel Washington premieres in Century City, California in 1993.

Clear & Present Danger!

Most people like hard work, particulary when they're paying for it - Elbert Hubbard
Welcome aboard my Wobbly Work Wheel 🎡
It was nice to have a warm hug.
Brew with breakfast.
Four layers were added, as I opened the toilet window!
No such thing of wearing just a t-shirt to work early in the morning anymore!
I had asked hubby to refix the bathroom light to the ceiling, over the weekend.
(As it fell down after the loft boarding had been fitted.)
I was getting ready to leave, when I heard a band and crash from the bathroom...
The ceiling light didn't stop up for long!
Second bathroom light has smashed in company of my hubby in over 12 months!
It's a good job Screwfix had another one in.
I ordered a new one and will pick it up later on.
Running late now.
Gives hubby a sloppy wet 💋 before I leave.
I had four layers on under my Summer Coat.
Winter hat and gloves.
The only thing I forgot was the Big Big Sunglasses :(
I put on my lights..
Now for the fun to start...🍭
I was chatting to someone about snow being forecasted for next month. He said it normally comes in February.
I rolled my eyes and said,"February is my 50th Birthday month, and I'm dreading it!"
"Nothing to worry to about, I'm 58 and don't feel it!"He laughed.
"You don't look like a day over 55!" I replied.
"Thanks, now I'm going to my office to have a hot chocolate!" He laughed, and carried on walking.
I could tell I was going to have a bad shift.
Cars were going straight under my stick and not stopping.
It got even worst when cars were stopping in the Keep Clear Space.
How I supposed to get pushchairs through?
One car driver had to reverse so I could get people with pushchairs through!
In the end I lowered the stick, one mini had to stop, and I heard another mini on the otherside speeding up the road, the lollystick was stretched over the otherside of the road.
That mini soon stopped as well!
An American driving a red Land Rover, asked me, "Where the Village Hall was?"
"Behind you, and you can park your car in there too."I pointed to the village hall
They are doing to Covid Boosters every Monday in the Village Hall.
I was glad to have survived that shift!
The traffic lights were still at the bottom of the road.
I went another way to Screw Fix.
I collected another Bathroom Light.
Then got the newspaper.
Back home...
I put on the coffee machine.
Dragged the spin bike into the Living Room.
Warmed up.
Put on Netflix.
A good 30 minute spin session.
Finished watched Django Unchained.
Cooled down.
Now for some coffee!
Now to write Saturday and Sunday's blog posts.
All the way up to dinnertime.
I remembered my big big sunglasses this time.
On the way to putting on my lights, I was chatting to a good friend's son who needed to chat to someone! I said goodbye to him, moved on to chat to the woman who gives me a lots of free plants and vice versa. Puts on my lights and walk down to chat with my friend and her mum.
My other friend arrived with his dog to join in with the conversation.
This song appeared in my head...
Said goodbye to my friends.
My friend with his dog saw for himself how bad the traffic was getting.
Some car drivers were asking for directing for the Village Hall. I pointed it to it.
Three car drivers didn't read no entrance on the gate and when straight through it!
A man with a white Husky came over to me to crossed over. My friend's dog tried to get it.
(Good job it had a muzzle on!!)
I crossed the man with Husky safely over.
I was getting no where stopping the traffic again.
The traffic lights were making the traffic back up to me, and still people were stopping in the Keep Clear space!
I lowered my stick, and the car had to find the brake pedal and stop!
I'm glad I survived that one!
I walked back to my car...
I was getting well warm!
Back home.
I got into my cupboard to look through all the cooking books...
I got so carried away, I forgot the time!
I soon got the meat-free Stir Fry on the go.
I been in contact with my local councillors to find out how to stop lorries parking over our drive.
It's either double yellow lines..
(Which I could get a parking ticket for going over the yellow lines and parking on my drive)
or a dropped kerb, which I would have to fund myself (£1000+)
I also had a email about the forecoming Council elections, and the Labour party wanting four more people to fill four vacant seats that are coming up next year.
I wasn't chosen last time and am not going to suffer the embarrassment of being turned down again!
Now to look inside today's newspaper.
William Shatner

stars in "Nightmare at 20,000 Feet" episode of CBS anthology series "The Twilight Zone" in 1963
At least hubby won his snooker game with his new Snooker cue \o/
Sleep Tea time
Now to keep the bed warm!
