Enjoying The Sun's Rays!

The quickest way to make a million? Marry it - Zsa Zsa Gabor
Welcome aboard my Wobbly Work Wheel 🎑
Breakfast and Brew.
Dressed.
Now to leave the house!
I gives hubby a sloppy wet one πŸ’‹ before I leave.
On goes the Summer hat and summer coat.
&
Big big sunglasses.
My lights are not working down the road.
I just go and get my newspaper.
I swap the newspaper for my big stick.
I go and turn on my other lights.
Let's go to work...🍭
The cars were not stopping on the otherside.
It was like I wasn't there!
Big queues forming to get down the road!
Finished in one piece.
Back home I go.
Coffee time.
Time to get Kenny out to make some nice cup cakes.
Two trays went into the oven.
Unloaded and loaded up the dishwasher while they were baking.
Booked an appointment for the Opticians for Saturday, as the headaches were getting worst.
Cakes are baked!
Leaves them to cool down.
Liquid lunch time.
Talked to hubby on his lunch break.
Now back out in the sunshine I go.
On goes the summer coat and summer hat.
&
Big big sunglasses.
Goes and puts one set of lights on.
Collects my big stick.
Has a rabbit in the square with friends.
Says goodbye to my friends when it's time to start my shift.
Still having problems with car drivers not stopping on the otherside or stopping in the Keep Clear Space.
Boing, Boing, Boing.
Finished in one piece.
Home time.
Finished the cakes.
Put them in two cake tins.
A early tea I think.
Yum.
Looked into today's newspaper.
Wonder what film I can watch tonight?
Really love that film!
Sleep Tea Time.

Then coffee...
Then out for a little ride in Sexy Beast.
First stop was to get the newspaper.
Next on the way to Bromsgrove's Lidl.
Plenty of Sewing Machines left.
Bread Machine.
Once I did my shopping in Lidl.
Now to look in Home Bargains.
Pity I don't drink!
Got my bits from here.
Now to visit the European Supermarket.
I got some nice Polish sausages and some nice other food.
Nipped into Aldi while I was there.
Car loaded up with some nice things.
Back home.
Once I unpacked everything.
Now to put up the bunting!
Lunchtime.
Now to get yesterday's blog wrote.
Tea at 3.
Put the tea in the oven ready for later.
Carried on with writing yesterday's blog post.
Hubby came home and received a nice wet sloppy 😘
We had mushroom and Spinach parcel with veggies for tea.
I had a quick look into today's newspaper.
Charlie Watts  was an English musician who achieved international fame as the drummer of the Rolling Stones from 1963 until his death in 2021. One of the band's core members, Watts, alongside lead vocalist and frontman Mick Jagger and guitarist Keith Richards, were the only members of the band to perform on all of their studio albums. He cited jazz as a major influence on his drumming style.
Originally trained as a graphic artist, Watts developed an interest in jazz at a young age, and joined the band Blues Incorporated. He also started playing drums in London's rhythm and blues clubs, where he met future bandmates Jagger, Richards and Brian Jones. In January 1963, he left Blues Incorporated and joined the Rolling Stones as drummer, while doubling as designer of their record sleeves and tour stages. Watts's first public appearance as a permanent member was in February 1963, and he remained with the group until his death 58 years later.
Aside from his career with the Rolling Stones, Watts toured with his own group, the Charlie Watts Quintet, and appeared in London at Ronnie Scott's Jazz Club with the Charlie Watts Tentet.
He died on this day aged 80 in 2021

Hubby had put the second coat of paint at the front of the house.
Then we watched 3 episodes on a series of Monty Python:
Sleep tea time.
Out tidying up the garden tomorrow
Hopefully not going to have a sweaty hump!🐫
