Blast, That White Ball!!!!

England does not love coalitions - Benjamin Disraeli, 1852
Welcome aboard my Wobbly Work Wheel 🎡
Breakfast and Brew
On goes the Minion socks.
Dressed.
Now out of the door I go...
I gives hubby a sloppy wet one 💋
Off to work I go.
The gates weren't open, so I parked opposite.
On goes the Winter Coat and summer coat.
I turn on my lights and pick up the newspaper.
The gates were open when I go back.
Drove Sexy Beast in.
I picked up my big stick.
Now to turn on my lights.
Off to work I go...🍭
It's gong to be interesting this Friday↓
Christmas Light Switch On.
Still had cars stopping in the Keep Clear space.
Last minute braking didn't help either.
Suddenly went cold, and didn't have my gloves on me!
Finished in one piece.
Took off the Winter coat and summer hat.
Now to do some Council Business.
Out in 2 hours and off home I go.
Gets my council bag ready for tonight's Council meeting.
Liquid lunch time.
Reads the newspaper.
Talks to hubby on his lunch break.
I got some food for my friend who is struggling and got some napkins for the event that is happening in the Village Hall on Friday Night.
Onto work I go.
I drops in the napkins into the Office.
The winter hat, and winter coat goes on.
I gives my friend the food. My other friend turns up. We go and turn on the lights. Then I go and ask 6 businesses if they would have a pic of a Snowman in their window, as it's a part of the Snowman Trail next month.
Goes into the Charity shop.
Nice sequin dog they had, which I am going to rehome!
I picked up two board games, for the Warm Hub starts next month.
I turn on lights, drops the board games into the office and then we go off for a rabbit in the square.
I said thank you for them for coming.
Now to start the afternoon shift.
It was cloudy so no low lying sun to worry about.
Just the last minute braking. On car had two choices, either his windscreen gets a tap and crack or stops.
He stopped!
Finished in one piece.
Now back home.
The dog goes with the rest of sequin items.
Lemsip time.
Sorts out the washing from the weekend.
Has a light tea.
Chats to hubby before I left to go to the Council Meeting.
All ready for the meeting↓
We have a good meeting.
Back home I go.
Younger son has so much to tell me.
He has resigned from his job,
His last day is this Sunday.
His has a date this Thursday.
He wants a lift to Train Station.
(As he is not leaving my bike chained up at the Train Station!)
I got on with more Council Business.
Sleep Tea Time.
Hubby's snooker team lost 3-2.
Hubby pocketed the Black Ball only for the Cue ball to follow the Black Ball!
I kept the bed warm for him...
I went off like a Light....zzzzz

Doing Some Good Deeds!

Television is for appearing on, not for looking at - Noel Coward
Welcome to my Saturday Funday 👄
There was no "Sounds of the 60s" as the host, Tony Blackburn was unwell.
Oh well, time to do the Heardles.
Heardle 50s:
Heardle 60s:
My results:
Breakfast and Brew.
The thermal vest still went on.
Now to do some good deeds.
We gifted some books and household things to Charity in Stratford Upon Avon.
I had a look around and didn't actually buy anything.
We nipped into the local Morrisons to get the newspaper.
Good film ;)
Drink and nibble time.
We dropped more books at the National Trust for their Charity Book Shop.
On the way out, we noticed they are replacing 3 windows...
On the way home, I had to track down where DPD delivered my parcel yesterday.
I had no luck from the Customer Service of DPD yesterday, the place where my parcel I got from was no help either.
At least I got it!
Liquid lunch time.
Now to do the food shopping.
Someone was trying to go through the No Entry!
Then decided to go the right way out of the car park.
Rainbows in Lidl↓
Replaced the Budda in the hallway.
The old one lost it's head!
We had a look in Dunelm↓
Then back home we went.
Unloaded the shopping.
Started on doing the tea for later.
Some of the things we couldn't give to Charity was put on free on Facebook and they soon went!
In went the tea in the oven!
Quick look into the newspaper.
UK No.1 on this day in 1972:
Nilsson - Without You
UK No.1 on this day in 1978:
Kate Bush - Wuthering Heights
Tea was ready.
Mmmmm Chicken Stew.
Now to watch some telly!
Great programme.
Then we watched
Sleep Tea Time.
Feeling tired just after 12.30am.
Time for that warm bed....🛏
