Behind The Back Door!

I kept a pet goat that followed me like an unpaid bill - Myrtle Reed.
Welcome to my tidy up Tuesday ๐Ÿ’
I came downstairs at 5am,
As it was too warm to sleep upstairs.
Hubby woke me up to join him upstairs for breakfast.
We did the Heardles.
Heardle 60s:
My son's answers were:
Dressed.
Now out for a long ride....
First stop was B&Q↓
Got some bits.
Then off to visit the big Dunelm↓
I have more than enough duvet covers⇊
It was so warm,
Time for a cold drink!
Now to visit the house.
The clock fell off and developed a crack in the top.
Swapped it around with a picture.
See how long it stops up now.
The garden still needs sorting out.
We have done the inside of the house!
Nice photo of hubby's late parents.
We nipped out to get lunch,
As there is no microwave in the kitchen to heat any food up!
I get some more defusers for the house to make it smell nice.
Hubby got some free boxes to box up some books to give to the Droitwich Lions.
Back to the house.
I tried to make the kitchen look a bit better.
I had the back door open to help dry the kitchen floor as I had mopped it when I heard the neighbours say:
"Dave, they 're in!"
After she noticed the back door open, and two chairs I had left by the back door, moved out of the way!
Found the missing Bank  Statement from 2014.
Blunts Shoes - £34
£50 & other amounts  being transferred out  every two weeks to people.
He was well into  his overdraft -£152 of £500.
The next time we are sorting more of the house out is the final week of August.
Hopefully it will be  when the house can go on the market.
Waves at the outside camera that is just above next door's living room window.
Off we go back home.
Nice easy tea.
It's still warm.
We sit outside to watch the sun go down.
Didn't get today's newspaper.
But here are the No.1's of previous years.
UK No.1 on this day in 1986:
Chris De Burgh - Lady in Red
UK No.1 on this day in 2003:
Daniel Bedingfield - Never Gonna Leave Your Side
US No.1 on this day in 1975:
Eagles - One Of these Nights
US No.1 on this day in 1980:
Olivia Newton John - Magic
Sleep Tea time:
Let's hope we don't have a sweaty Hump ๐Ÿซ tomorrow...

Behind The Green Door!

Come on Marlene.Let's go home and ignore each other for the evening - Boycie,Only Fools and Horses.
Welcome to my busy Sunday๐Ÿ’“
Little bit of a lie-in.
Hug with brew.
Breakfast.
Now to start to get the back garden cleared of stuff to go down the tip.
Filled car up, hubby and younger son went down to empty the car.
Meanwhile my other son and me were sorting through lots of black bags from the loft.
I found a Duck!
Edd the Duck.
When hubby came back...
Time for coffee!
Then to load hubby's car to go down the storage unit.
More sorting out to do.
Once car was loaded up.
We had a quick lunch.
Hubby went off to the Storage unit to unload his car.
Hubby comes back.
Now out in Sexy Beast.
Check tyres,
Fill up, and get today's newspaper.
Back home to fill hubby's car up with more things to go to the tip!
Once filled up, off he went!
I found my Misty Annual from 1981!
I had this every Christmas until 1985!
Nice easy tea.
I was going to collect a Magic bag from Waitrose tonight, however they didn't have enough food.
So it was cancelled.
We picked up the first Magic Bag from Morrisons.
Then a Magic bag from M&S.
Now to catch up with a great film, we recorded earlier.
Sleep Tea time.
Quick look into today's newspaper.
David  McCallum  is a British-American actor and musician. He first gained recognition in the 1960s for playing secret agent Illya Kuryakin in the television series The Man from U.N.C.L.E.. In recent years, McCallum has gained renewed international recognition and popularity for his role as NCIS medical examiner Dr. Donald "Ducky" Mallard in the American television series NCIS. With John Leyton, he is one of the last living actors from the 1963 classic The Great Escape.
He is 88 years old ๐ŸŽˆ
Michael  Elphick  was an English film and television actor. He played the eponymous private investigator in the ITV series Boon and Harry Slater in BBC's EastEnders. He was nominated for a BAFTA Award for Best Supporting Actor for his performance in the 1983 film Gorky Park.
In his prime, Elphick always looked older than he was, and with his gruff Sussex accent and lip-curling sneer he often played menacing hard men.
Elphick struggled with a highly publicised addiction to alcohol; at the height of his problem he admitted to consuming two litres of spirits a day, which contributed to his death from a heart attack in 2002.
He would have been 75 years old ๐ŸŽˆ
John  Challis was an English actor. He had an extensive television career but is best known for portraying Terrance Aubrey "Boycie" Boyce in the long-running BBC Television sitcom Only Fools and Horses (1981–2003) and its sequel/spin-off The Green Green Grass (2005–2009), as well as Monty Staines from the seventh series onwards in the ITV sitcom Benidorm, from 2015 to 2018.
He sadly died today aged 79.
I actually met John Challis at a book signing in 2015.
Back on the wobbly work wheel tomorrow ๐ŸŽก
