It's My Party, I Can Cry If I Want To!

Anybody going slower than you is an idiot, and anybody going faster than you is a maniac - George Carlin
Welcome aboard my Wobbly Work Wheel 🎡
Nice big hug to start Monday with.
Brew with Breakfast.
Then the rain came down......
Dressed.
On goes the sexy lumo trousers!
I gives hubby a sloppy wet 😘 before I leave.
On goes the winter coat and boots!
Now for the fun to start...🍭
The clouds disappear and the sun comes out!
Great!
I even take off my gloves, as I am getting well warm!
I crossed one old man on his mobilty scooter.
When he goes, I look down and he has dropped his newspaper on the road. I pick it up and chase up the road to give him it back.
I had a thank you for it!
Now to get back to my spot!
It's nice for parents to cross up the road and not use me!
Few cars just went under the stick....
Few boings went on top of their roofs!
The sun was out now....
Finished in one piece!
I pick up the newspaper on the way home.
Puts on the coffee machine.
Phones up the council, and waits for the phone to be answered.
The Permission has been granted, the letter is in the post.
As for seeing the sky through holes in our roof, there is a backlog, and we are put on the very long waiting list to get the roof done!
In need of some strong coffee after that!
My hubby's snooker cue was finally redelivered here after it was delivered elsewhere on Friday.
I told the driver, he will be delivering my parcel tomorrow!
(Just a heads up!)
My draught excluders also was delivered.
(Not bad considering I wasn't going to have them until 1st November!)
I get 1 and 1/2 blog posts just before lunch!
Lunchtime arrives...
It forecasted sunshine this afternoon.
The sexy lumo trousers were left off.
As soon as I got into Sexy Beast it started raining!
It's pouring down with rain.
On goes the winter coat and boots.
I put on my lights, and wait for my friend to come to have a chat before I start.
It stops raining, but there is a big black cloud to my left.
Now for the fun to start...🍭
Some car drivers need to take a eye test, as they were ignoring my stick and just driving under it!
One car actually drove around the lowered stick!
The rain went, and the sun came out!
I'm glad the sexy lumo trousers wasn't put on!
Finished in one piece!
I chattered with my friend for 20 minutes.
Then off home I went.
My youngest son was a bit quiet and upset when I got back. He had got things for his "Friends" in 6th form, texted them all to come to the 6th form common room.
(He had used his £10 Lidl voucher to get them all)
No one turned up at all :(
They were all in the nearby Shopping centre.
He brought all the food back he had bought.
(I gave him a big hug)
I carried on writing the third blog post.
Hubby didn't have enough fuel to go to snooker tonight, so he is coming back after work.
He had a nice sloppy wet 💋 when he came back.
I did the Stir Fry.
Afterwards I had to get a Magic Bag from Starbucks.
That black cloud didn't look nice.
There was a big queue for petrol at Morrisons.
I had to sit in the queue as Starbucks is in Morrison's car park.
The Morrison's car park was empty and so was Starbucks.
Picked up the magic bag.
I go another route as car drivers blocked one of the way I was going home.
Back home.
Now for a quick read of the newspaper.
Bernard  Jewry , known professionally as Shane Fenton and later as Alvin Stardust, was an English rock singer and stage actor. Performing first as Shane Fenton in the 1960s, Jewry had a moderately successful career in the pre-Beatles era, hitting the UK top 40 with four singles in 1961–62. However, he became better known for singles released in the 1970s and 1980s as Alvin Stardust, a character he began in the glam rock era, with hits including the UK Singles Chart-topper "Jealous Mind", as well as later hits such as "Pretend" and "I Feel Like Buddy Holly".
He would have been 79 years old 🎈
He sadly died aged 72 in 2014.
Barbara  Dickson OBE (born Dunfermline, Fife) is a Scottish singer whose hits include "I Know Him So Well", "Answer Me" and "January February". Dickson has placed fifteen albums in the UK Albums Chart from 1977 to date, and had a number of hit singles, including four which reached the Top 20 in the UK Singles Chart. The Scotsman newspaper has described her as Scotland's best-selling female singer in terms of the numbers of hit chart singles and albums she has achieved in the UK since 1976.
She is 74 years old  🎈
Sleep Tea time.
Let's hope I can dodge the rain tomorrow..
