All That Glitters Is Not Gold!

My body clock still thinks it's work time.
Up at normal time to enjoy tea in bed!
I lay in bed listening to the radio inbetween nodding off!
Later on it was time for more brew and hug!
Breakfast.
Dressed.
More Christmas wear...
Hubby went off down to road to see if any of the factories was missing a parcel that was delivered to us by mistake!
I had piles of dried washing to sort out.
He went off to get the newspaper...
 
Samuel L. Jackson is an American actor and producer. Widely regarded as one of the most popular actors of his generation, the films in which he has appeared have collectively grossed over $27 billion worldwide, making him the highest-grossing actor of all time (when cameo appearances are excluded). He rose to fame with films such as Coming to America (1988), Goodfellas (1990), Patriot Games (1992), Juice (1992), Menace II Society (1993), True Romance (1993), Jurassic Park (1993), and Fresh (1994).
Jackson has especially been noted for his roles in the Spike Lee films School Daze (1988), Do the Right Thing (1989), Mo' Better Blues (1990), Jungle Fever (1991), Oldboy (2013) and Chi-Raq (2015) and in the Quentin Tarantino films Pulp Fiction (1994), Jackie Brown (1997), Django Unchained (2012), and The Hateful Eight (2015). For his role in Pulp Fiction, he was nominated for the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor. 
He is 72 years old 🎈 
Karl Denver  was a Scottish singer, who, with his trio had a series of UK hit singles in the early 1960s. Most famous of these was a 1961 version of "Wimoweh", which showed off Denver's falsetto yodelling register. He reached the Top 20 with his first five yodel-based singles.
He died on this day in 1998 aged 67. 

Billie  Whitelaw CBE  was an English actress. She worked in close collaboration with Irish playwright Samuel Beckett for 25 years and was regarded as one of the foremost interpreters of his works. She was also known for her portrayal of Mrs. Baylock, the demonic nanny in the 1976 horror film The Omen.
She died on this day in 2014 aged 82.
 Coffee time when he got back.
Hubby then walked up town with our kids to put some Christmas money in their bank accounts.
I meanwhile had a cake to bake!
Raided the brandy...
(Not to drink but to add to the cake!)
I had some glittery post arrive..
When hubby came back.
Light lunch.
Dishwasher unloaded, and loaded back up.
I wrote yesterday blog...
(Hubby fell asleep on the sofa for 2 and 1/2 hours in the meantime) 
Cake was done in over 2 hours.
(Decorating it tomorrow!) 
We had a Beef Stir Fry for Tea.
We watched the final of Hell's Kitchen season 15.
The winner was:

This barking cough I have got, is sucking my energy levels.
I went to bed early with my Sleep Tea.
I went straight out like a light until later.
I suddenly couldn't sleep anymore,
Downstairs I went.
More sleep tea,cough medicine,
&
 A date with the sofa!

Enjoying The Softs!

At last it's arrived.
Last day of work
&
Friday!
Time for breakfast in bed..↓
I gave everyone a big 💋💋💋 when everyone left....
I meanwhile had some catching up of the housework to do... 
Once I had a light lunch and coffee...
It was time for the final day at work...
 While I waited to go in,
I checked out the Birthdays..
Jane Fonda:American Actress (Klute, 9 to 5 )
is 81 years old.
Samuel L.Jackson:American actor (Pulp Fiction, Iron Man) is 70 years old.
F.Scott Fitzgerald: American writer, died aged 44 in 1940.
Karl Denver:Scottish singer, died aged 67 in 1998.
  Lockerbie disaster: Pan Am Flight 103 destroyed mid air by a terrorist bomb killing all 258 on board over Scotland in 1988.
I go into work for my last day...
 
 
 
 
 I enjoyed my last day...
Gets back home to decide whether or not to go to my other job's Christmas Drinks
(As I got invited at the last minute by email)
 I went off to the pub.
I missed out on the meal,
as I wasn't there to be asked what I wanted.
 I had my  normal soft drink↑
I got on with my boss's dad.
He was enjoying his pint!
 We were asked to go onto another pub.
I picked up my hubby.
He enjoyed a few pints..↓
 I meanwhile enjoyed some more Lemonade↓
 We enjoyed a nice meal too↓
I said goodbye to my new friend.
I was glad to get home...
The mouth battery needed recharging...
