Four Seasons In One Day!

If you think it's difficult to meet new people, try picking up the wrong golf ball - Jack Lemmon
Welcome to my Hump of the Week 🐫
Nice warm hug followed by,
Warm brew and breakfast.
A lot of rain was falling outside...
Time for those sexy lumo trousers to wear!
I gives hubby a sloppy wet 😘 before I leave.
All the waterproofs on.
I turns on lights and goes back to stand by Sexy Beast to avoid the heavy rain!
Now for the fun to start...🍭
Some car drivers were going to fast in the rain.
Plenty of cars braking last minute when my stick gets put out.
It stopped raining half way during my shift.
I was getting well warm, even had to take off my gloves!
The blue 21 plate mini was no where to be seen!
Finished in one piece.
Now to go and pick up some bits!
First from Screw Fix,
Picks up newspaper and neighbour's magazine.
Final stop was Argos, to pick up some things in the sale...
Back home.
Puts on the coffee machine.
Tidies up the back garden.
Insulates all the pipes that are outside.
Adds a grid topper to the drain.
Next up was to sort out the new curtains for the little windows in the living and our bedroom windows.
I looked  high and low for some curtain tape..
All through my craft crap...
Finally found some!
A much needed coffee is needed!
It was raining, thundering, lighting,outside.
As the curtains I bought are Eyelet and are changing them.
Plus adding another pair of curtains to the back of them, instead of adding curtain backing.
Pinned the curtain tape to the curtains.
By the time I had finished that,it was lunchtime!
I could see blue skies outside now!
Now for round 2...
A little bit of Manfred to put me in a good mood..
The hall was closed where I normally park.
Parked in another car park.
I went and put on my lights.
Then I sat down on the bench to enjoy the sun's rays...
One friend was talking to another parent.
I started my shift in the sunshine.
Some car drivers decided they wasn't stopping no matter.
Some had the BOINGs when they went under the stick.
My other friend appeared is a CD he bought yesterday..
Maroon 5 - Songs about Jane.
It has a Level 42 Cd inside it.
He was taking it back to the Charity Shop.
I finished in one piece.
Him and me walked back to my Sexy Beast.
We had a good rabbit until 4.20!!!
I said goodbye to him, as he walked back to his car, then onwards to the Charity Shop.
I drove past him, and waved as he was walking down to the Charity Shop. When I went past it, it closed at 4pm!
More Manfred to sing along with....
Back home.
I got the blue curtains down from the Dining Room Window. Put some longer and brighter ones up.
I needed help getting down the net curtains down. Younger son got them down for me.
Then the new ones went up.
While he was putting up the net curtains, the 12 year old plastic curtain rail came off and snapped!
Great!
Going to be fun putting up another curtain rail.
It took hubby nearly all day to put the one above the front door, as the walls are so solid, he broke 3 drill bits!
Another job to do at the weekend!
I put up the new bathroom curtains.
They too are eyelet curtains.
They are being changed as well.
Just had to order more curtain tape as didn't have enough!
Hubby came home with tea.
Then I dropped him off at the Palace Theatre to watch Chubby Brown.
I got home to write yesterday's blog post.
Then to catch up today's newspaper.
The song at number 6, was one of the songs played at my late dad's funeral last year.
Number 1 is Gerry and the Pacemakers and
"You'll Never Walk Along"

Kathy Kirby (born Catherine Ethel O'Rourke) was an English singer, reportedly the highest-paid female singer of her generation. She is best known for her cover version of Doris Day's "Secret Love" and for representing the United Kingdom in the 1965 Eurovision Song Contest where she finished in second place. Her physical appearance often drew comparisons with Marilyn Monroe. Her popularity peaked in the 1960s, when she was one of the best-known and most-recognised personalities in British show business.
She would have been 83 years old 🎈
She died aged 72 in 2011.
Tom  Petty was an American singer, songwriter, musician, record producer, and actor. He was the lead vocalist and guitarist of Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers, formed in 1976. He previously led the band Mudcrutch, and was also a member of the late 1980s supergroup the Traveling Wilburys.
He would have been 71 years old 🎈

William Scott "Jack" Elam  was an American film and television actor best known for his numerous roles as villains in Western films, and later in his career, comedies (sometimes spoofing his villainous image). His most distinguishing physical quality was his misaligned eye. Before his career in acting, he took several jobs in finance and served two years in the United States Navy during World War II.
Elam performed in 73 movies and in at least 41 television series. Some of his more memorable roles are in Once Upon a Time in the West, High Noon, Support Your Local Sheriff!, and on the series The Twilight Zone and Gunsmoke.
He died on this day in 2003 aged 83
I goes and picks up hubby from the Chubby Brown concert.
He hadn't laughed so much in years.
Sleep Tea Time.
Manfred Mann is 81 years old tomorrow 🎈
Let's hope the sun will be back tomorrow!

The moon was still out.
On my way to my Lollipop 🍭 job.
Nice sunrise before I start!
Traffic wasn't too bad, plus I was getting a bit warm under my coat with all the layers!
Finished in one piece.
Back home to undo some layers..
Quick coffee.
Then out for a singalong.....
Has a quick read of the newspaper..
Dave Mount,  was the drummer in the 1970s glam-rock group Mud, whose string of hits included the clumping Tiger Feet (1974) and the million-selling Christmas chart-topper of that year, Lonely This Christmas.
He died aged 59 in 2006.
I look across the fields of fun...
Wearing another one of the facemasks I made.
When I though I couldn't have a bad dinner service, I was so wrong.....
Back to normal again :( :(
It was guess the year again on the way home.
Great songs to lift my mood....
Lunch time \o/
I had to leave early to get a space in the car park. It still was quite cold, but at least there was no white stuff arriving just yet!
Not having to repeat the staring competition from yesterday helped too!
Getting dark earlier!
Finishes in one piece.
I get's Monday blog post wrote.
I got the tea cooked and dished up...
The spices that cooked on the chicken made a difference.
Now to carry on with Hell's Kitchen season 12.
While hubby goes to Lidl and Aldi's to get more salads.
