Crossing Sides!

When a man tells you he got rich by hard work, ask him whose - George Bernard Shaw
Welcome to my sunny Thursday 😎
Breakfast and Brew
Dressed.
Now out of the house I go...
I gives hubby a sloppy wet one 💋 before I left.
On goes the summer coat, summer hat
&
Big big sunglasses.
I walked down the road to turn on my lights.
I bought the newspaper on the way back up.
Swapped my newspaper for my big stick.
Ambulance was outside one of the houses on the same side my spot is in the morning.
I go and turn on my other lights.
While I am waiting to put on my lights, the queue of traffic is forming to get around the ambulance.
I go down to my spot.
The traffic can't see me stood on my spot.
I cross over the road and cross over the children from the side I normally use in the afternoon until the Ambulance has gone.
Once it goes, I go back over the otherside.
Good job I did, I have a truck suddenly park on the double yellow lines...
I was glad to have finished in one piece.
I did the survey of the Recreation Ground.
Went down to the Charity Shop and gave them the shortbread I made.
Then back home.
Cup of coffee needed.
Loaded up the dishwasher up.
Added some washing to the line outside.
Lunch time.
It was a bit warm for liquid lunch.
I had a chat with hubby on his lunchbreak.
Now to add more suncream on.
Now to do the afternoon session.
Puts on the summer coat and summer hat
&
Big big sunglasses.
On the way to turning on my lights.
There is a new Pillar Box Topper...
Then it's time for a cool drink.
Very nice.
Afterwards I go and get my big stick out of Sexy Beast. And stands in the square for a little rabbit with my friends.
I say goodbye to my friends and does the afternoon shift.
Still have cars trying to get under my stick!
I lowered it really low on the third attempt of someone trying to drive under it.
A few BOINGs were given out for those cars failing to stop on the otherside of the road.
Finished in one piece.
Home time.
I had a nice ice cold lolly when I got home.
Then I got on with the tea.
Hubby came home and a sloppy wet one 💋.
Tea is served.
Yum!
I had a look in today's newspaper.

Welcome to the Friday Feeling in Blackpool 🎈
Nice brew to start Friday with.
I draw the curtains back, to find it raining...
Dressed.
Downstairs for a good cooked breakfast.
Afterwards, it's time to get wet!
We missed one tram.
The next tram was full.
We cross the road and wait for the bus.
While we were waiting...
The tram comes....
5 mins our bus comes.
We go around the backstreets of Blackpool.
We get off to visit the rock shop.
Of course I have to get a fridge magnet!
Then onto a 60s cafe for a coffee!
Once we finished.
We went to catch the tram to Fleetwood.
Gets to Fleetwood.
Now to look around some more shops...
Lunchtime.
Now to walk that off, by walking to the Fleetwood Ferry Tram Stop.

Back on the tram we go.
Back to the B&B for a brew.
Back out later on for fish and chips on the tram.
The kids tried to beat us by walking to the North Pier while we caught the tram.
We get to the tram stop first.
(Just about)
Onto the Heritage Tram.
While we were waiting to go.
We spotted a man wearing a rainbow jumper.
He was waiting for his date to arrive.
Not keeping still for a minute, lots of walking about, looking at his phone, talking on his phone.
We didn't have to wait too long.
The woman arrived in a very short dress, then they both disappeared around the corner.
Then the tram started to leave.
We were given trays and bottles of pop or water.
We travels down to Starr Gate.
Fish and Chips were given out.
We travel down to Bisham
I bought some lovely things to go home with.

Once the trip came to a end. The kids again went off to beat us back to the B&B.
We waited for the tram at the North Pier.
This time the kids beat us back!
We just got back to watch:
