If you saw a heat wave, would you wave back? - Steven Wright
Welcome to a Hot Sweaty Tuesday 👙
Heardle time.
Heardle 60s:
My son's answers:
Got into my white clothes again!
Well warm again!
Goes back to Sexy Beast, to put on the Summer Coat, and big stick.
There was hardly no traffic!
One dad I was talking to yesterday about not wearing his sun hat, actually did wear it.
It is now getting well warm!
Crossed about 20 parents and children.
Goes into Newsagents again to see if they have got the papers delivers.
Nope.
Goes back to Sexy Beast.
Drives down to Co-op to get my newspaper.
Back home.
It's getting warm now!
Washes my white cotton trousers and puts them on the line.
I leave my summer coat and cap to soak in the bowl of cold water.
Light lunch time.
Takes 2 bottles of water, wet summer coat and cap for round 2.
Puts on Lights.
Collects big stick.
Goes into the park and waits in the shade.
Now for a little rabbit...
Walks over to my spot.
Says goodbye to my friend.
Hardly no traffic!
One dad wanted a wet t-shirt competition with me.
I replied, "I always win them, and even better for wearing this coat!"
One parent gave me a bottle of water which was nice.
Some parents wanted to get me a ice-cream.
I had to decline as I'm not allowed to eat while I am on duty.
One Grandparent walked past me and said:
"I miss your dad!"
I replied to him, "So do I!"
While I was crossing a dad over, he was telling is child, they were going to visit his granddad.
The child said "No!"
I replied,"No means yes!"
The dad laughed, and said:
"See if Granddad has any ice-cream!"
"Don't forget to jump on Granddad!" I replied.
Finished in one piece.
Now back home!
Followed by a much needed ice lolly and cold drink!
We had a light tea!
Quick look into today's newspaper.
