Still put on the thermal vest on.
Now to get some fresh air...
I gave hubby a sloppy wet one 💋 before I left.
Had to go round the long way to work.
Gets my winter coat, winter gloves and two winter hats on.
Fetches the newspaper.
Swaps the newspaper for my big stick.
Now to turn on my lights.
Turns lights on.
Now to walk to my spot 🍭
I held my big stick out in front of me to stop the traffic.
White VW car drove past it, nearly hitting it's windscreen!
Typicial!
Be watching out for it again!
I had to give out some more BOINGs again.
Some late breaking again!
At least I finished in one piece!
Back home.
Coffee machine went on.
As did the the dishwasher.
Done some housework.
Time for some coffee..
I wrote yesterday's blog post up to light lunch time.
Now to get ready to do the afternoon shift.
Big big sunglasses have to come out as well.
Go round the long way to work.
Doesn't help by people pulling out of junctions!
On goes the winter hat, winter coat, and gloves.
Turns on my lights.
I fetched my big stick.
Then was joined by four friends for a big rabbit in the square.
Low lying sun time!
I said goodbye to my friends.
Afternoon shift time.
I could hear it coming up the road.
Pity I had to cross some children over,
Out came the big stick to stop it.
Six more BOINGs handed out this afternoon!
At least I finished in one piece.
Home time.
Brew with nibble!
Put the Salmon Wellington into the oven.
Both sons were going to a Labour meeting tonight.
Hubby came back and a sloppy wet one 💋.
The Salmon Wellington was nice :)
Now for a quick look into today's newspaper.

As well as several layers!
Now to uncover Sexy Beast.
I gives hubby a sloppy wet 💋 before I leave.
It feels so cold!
On goes two winter hats and big big gloves.
I puts on my lights.
Now for the fun to start!
Just after I started,
A nice car went past :)
There were lots of last minute braking.
It's not as if they can't see me in a great lumo coat, swings a big stick with Stop in front of them!
I had a few cars going under the stick.
Lots of BOINGS!
At least I finished in one piece!
I went down to the local Co-op for some bits.
Then off to collect the newspaper.
Back home.
Coffee machine goes on.
Dishwasher empited.
Starts on the tea for later.
Stuffing made.
Peeled some potatoes and some sweet potatoes.
The veg was put in the saucepan ready.
Pan fried the Pork Chops.
Added the stuffing on the top.
In the oven ready for later.
The Soup maker came out as well.
Chicken pieces, chopped mushrooms, carrots, tomatoes, herbs and stock went in.
While that was cooking,
I needed that coffee!
I got on writing yesterday's blog post.
All the way up to lunch!
Soup Time.
The sun was out again....
Those Big Big Sunglasses have to come out again!
I still had my two hats and gloves on.
My two friends appeared a lot earlier than they do, they waited by our normal spot to yak.
I went and turned on my lights.
Then it was rabbit time!
It came the time to start, and said goodbye to my friends.
Now for the fun to start!
The low lying sun didn't help!
Lots of car were failing to stop, and going under the stick.
Lots of BOINGS were given out!
One road worker couldn't believe the cars were not stopping.
Average 3 in the morning and 3 in the afternoon.
He said,"He sees me up the road in the morning, and can't understand why they don't stop for me!"
"A trip to SpecSavers might be needed!" I replied.
My friend appeared with his dog, as I finished.
We had a good chat while I stood by Sexy Beast.
I wished a good night, and off I went home.
On the way home, one red car was kissing Sexy Beast's backend. I tried to lose it further up the road, then there is was again, until it turned left at the traffic island!
 I covered up Sexy Beast.
(As it's going to go cold tonight!)
Much needed tea is needed.
I had a 20 minute power nap to get rid of an unwanted migraine.
It had gone when I woke up!
Hubby came back for a sloppy wet 💋
Tea is served.
We watched the first episode of the second season of "Fame."
I looked into today's newspaper.

I Would Look Good In That!

If you look like your passport photo, you're too ill to travel - Will Kommen
Welcome to my Saturday 🚗
I woke up early,
Left sleeping beauty to snore..
Nice cup of tea.
I wrote yesterday's blog post.
Sleeping Beauty rose, and we enjoyed breakfast together.
We got up son ready to drop him off at work.
When we got ready,
Now to leave the house.
Dropped off James,
Chatted with Tracy while hubby went to check on his tyres.
Still raining when he came back to pick me up.
We got a hot sandwich on the way back home.
With a strong coffee.
Packed the overnight bag.
Tickets for car show, and car park ticket all ready.
Hubby picked up son from his job.
Light lunch.
Bag put in car.
Then off we go...
Rain, rain, rain all the way to the services.
Good job we brought our rain coats!
We goes back to the car.
Wow
Nice car parked up!
While we were sitting in our car, the driver came back. He didn't look too well.
He was quite surprised that anyone was speaking to him, as at the last services no one spoke to him for 2 hours!
(He doesn't know me then for talking!)
Someone in a 70 reg Jaguar car opposite, stood by his car in shades, trying to get noticed.
Failed!
Everyone was looking at the Mclaren instead.
The Mclaren driver was going to Manchester for his friend's memorial.
As soon as I said have a safe journey, the sun came out!
Then off we went on our journey!
We finally gets to our B&B!
No one to meet us.
We got out key out of the keysafe by the front door.
The bedroom door was already open when we got there.
The defuser needed filling up!
The view from our bedroom window!
There was no parking in front of the B&B.
So our car was further down the road!
We were going downstairs to have something to eat, when our bedroom door wouldn't lock!
A woman coming out of one of the bedrooms, phoned the owners, (who were a hour away) about it.
"Only replaced the lock 2 months ago," the woman said.
"Great, unlocked door while we sleep, I will be sleeping with one eye open,"I replied.
"You can swap with me if your like, I haven't got a ensuite like you, I have to use the shared bathroom with everyone."
I thought about for a few seconds...
"It's alright, we will stay in our room, thanks," I replied.
Going downstairs to eat in the kitchen, we opened the door to patio, and sat outside.
We goes upstairs afterwards.
We get ready for bed.
Look what I found in the wardrobe!
Slippers!
Tried to close the blinds...
Failed!
I made sure no one was coming into our room during the night...
No need for the key tonight↓↓
Sleep tea time
