Meeting A Big 60's Star & Out Comes The Sequins!

If I had to live my life again, I'd make all the same mistakes - only sooner - Tallulah Bankhead
November
Welcome to November.....
Some fun to be had👇
1: We visited Droitwich.
Took part in a free Art and Crafts session.
Pom pom making for hubby.
Crochet for me...👇
2: Reached my 5th Anniversary of being Studley's Road Crossing Patrol 🍭
3: Warm Space in the Village Hall.
I made a Bonfire Cake.
4: I bought a new weather forcasting device.
5: 11 years ago I made a Shaun the Sheep themed cake to enter into Cake Internation Cake Competition at the N.E.C.
6: It was my mum's Heavenly 80th Birthday 🎈🎈
7: Since I had come back from the Half Term Holiday. I have had some bad car drivers. Including one who had a go at me for crossing an adult over instead of a child!
The low lying sun in the afternoon is not helping either! I have had a few near misses.
8: I got to see one my heros from the 60s in concert....
*Mike d'Abo from Manfred Mann*
9: My husband's family plot has now got a shiny new gravestone.
Money well spent!
10: The weather forecaster was right!
11: Warm Space in the Village Hall.
Chocolate cake and Cranberry shortbread.
12: Nice rainbow after the rain.
13: For the Annual Christmas Light Turn On.
On goes the sequins and Christmas jumper!
We had a Christmas Craft Stall, hubby was enjoying himself!
The Christmas lights looked really good!
14: We did another Christmas Craft stall at Tardebigge Village Hall.
Goodbye to November......👍
Roll on to December 🎄🎅

Ha Ha It's Still Only Tuesday!

I have nothing to declare except my genius - Oscar Wilde
Welcome to March 🎕
Now onto the 50 year old Wobbly Work Wheel 🎡
Nice warm hug.
Followed by breakfast and brew.
Gets dressed.
(thermal vest goes on)
Now it's time to leave!
I gives hubby a wet one before I leave.
As the sun is out and it's nice and bright.
Outcomes the big big sunglasses.
As well as the two winter hats and gloves.
I put my lights on.
Now for the fun to start!
Bad to the normal again.
Limbo drivers back in force!
One Land Rover on the otherside.
Was too busy looking down at his phone and smoking his cigerette to notice I was walking in the middle of the road.
One ex-friend has gone from grey to blonde when she drove past....
(that has took 20 years off her now!)
Finished in one piece.
I got chatting with a parent who shared my Birthday yesterday, her sister was born on a Leap Year day.
I got the newspaper on the way home.
The coffee machine was put on.
I did some housework...
Now for some strong coffee!
I got yesterday's blog post wrote.
I had a knock at the door.
Someone holding a car bumper shape parcel.
The delivery man thought it was for my neighbour, until I looked at the name.
It was for the factory next door!
Then off he went with it.
Another Birthday card arrived from a good friend :)
Now for some nice liquid lunch!
It was forecasting rain in the afternoon.
So on went the sexy lumo trousers again.
Now for round 2 in the rain!
On went the boots, 2 hats, and waterproof gloves.
I turned on my lights.
Then off to talk to my friends in the rain!
We had a good laugh until I had started round 2.
It might be raining, but the car drivers are not stopping!
Few BOINGs were given out to the Limbo drivers!
I hate it when it rains, as with my hood up, I can't hear anyone creeping up behind me!
Finished in one piece.
Hometime.
I got chatting with one of my ex-customers who I used to deliver her mail.
We had a good yak and laugh for about 40 minutes!
I am glad they didn't lock the gates!
Now for a much needed brew!
My Birthday £5 voucher at Hobbycraft, needed spending.
Got some nice Gel pens, for when I write to my Prison Pen Pals.
As it is Pancake Day, I had something different.
Hubby came home and he was rewarded with a sloppy wet one.
Hubby and kids had two big pancakes each.
I had a Meat Free Stir Fry instead.
Now for a quick look into today's newspaper.
