You Are So Lucky!

It is hard to believe that a man is telling the truth when you know what you would lie if you were in his place - H L Mencken
Welcome to my Monday🎈
I'm on a small wobbly work wheel this week 🎑
I had to sleep on the sofa last night to escape the better half's loud snoring...
I heard it even though I had ear plugs..
(This will teach me not to fall asleep while watching Top Gear!!)
After an uncomfortable night on the sofa, I went upstairs to have a much needed hug and cup of tea.
I gave hubby a sloppy πŸ’‹ before he left the house...
I went back to sleep in that lovely king size bed πŸ›
After a couple of hours, it was time for a coffee↓
 Gathered up the kids,
We left the house↓
  Filled up Sexy Beast.
Nipped into Morrisons to get some bits.
I saw my friend, and asked "How's her mum was?"
"She died in August last year," came the answer back.
"I'm sorry to hear, my dad passed away on February 5th, bringing out the vultures!" I replied.
She came back to me and said:
"You are so lucky!"
"Why am I lucky, because I lost my dad?" I asked.
"My Stepdad sold the house a week before my mum died and my mum's will was void.My Step-dad walked away with half an million pound and my sister and I had nothing. He still hadn't got the grave stone enscribed!"
She walked off without hearing my answer.
Now to burn off some Monday Blues to nip off to a great Charity Shop.
Someone was walking out with a gold framed mirror and picnic basket when we went past it.

Someone was glad to see me↑

They so remind of a certain song I love↑↓

Sing? Of Course I Can Well Try!

Welcome to my Monday...
I enjoyed a cup of tea in bed...πŸ›
Gave hubby a big πŸ’‹ before he went off to work.
I got up to write a short shopping list...
Coffee helped me with it....;)
I sorted out with my union,
about my redundancy meeting about axing of my 🍭 job
Rounded up the kids...
No big sunglasses today...

At least it's warm....
We did a small shop in Lidl.
Car park was a nightmare to park in and get out of.
The dark clouds are threating us with rain.
I looked at the CD's in Morrisons.
A good song came on, and I sung along with the song, my son said he could hear me in the next aisle....
The song was↓↓↓
I picked up a good CD to play in the Sexy Beast.
My kids asked if I could move up to the 1980's.
"Not just yet, I'm happy with the 50's and 60's"
I told the cashier, she just laughed and felt sorry for my kids having to listen to it...
The CD got put on, and I sung along with Buddy Holly...
More exciting tunes to kids to hear tomorrow
  Unpacked the shopping.
Light lunch.
I wasn't such like a hot sweaty πŸ… at  Job 3.
I fear I might be for the chop for this job as well.
(Can't win!)
In need of some Monday Motivation....πŸ’—πŸ’—
"Alexa, play some Rock 'n' Roll please?"
I need to sing-a-long to get rid of these Monday Blues...
