One Bad Monday!

If anything can go wrong, it will - Murphy's Law
Welcome to what a bad Monday it is going to turn out to be 😔
The bed was well used last night ;)
We used the lovely shower as well ;)
Get dressed.
Goes down to breakfast.
No menus were on the table to see what we could have. Tired to open the bag of Alpen and it exploded everywhere!
No bin to put the empty wrapper in.
Another guest had to pass over the menu.
I had poached eggs on toast.
Back to our room to pack.
Quick coffee.
The views from our bedroom window.
I didn't enjoy the stay this time.
Not coming again after this.
Handed the card back in, and didn't even get asked if we enjoyed our stay!
Puts the bag in the car.
Now to dodge the sheep on the way out.
On the way to Evesham ....
Parks  the car and goes and looks for some bargains....
Nice statues...
Bargains....↓
We went for coffee....
It started to rain when we were going back to the car.
We nipped into Waitrose....
Went back to the car, and on the way to Lidl's.
The Housing Officer phoned up, about the questions I left for on Friday. Especially about the outstanding repairs that need doing. Then about the state of the house next door. He would let me know about it.
Goes into Lidl's to get the week's remaining shopping done.
Still raining on the way home.
Finally gets home.
Unpacks the car.
Loads of post.
(No wonder we had nothing on Saturday!)
One letter was from the Council.
Warrant???????
I was livid, and filled out the piece of paper they needed back by the 17th August.
I fancy to go to Worcester court
(Nice this time of the year!)
I wanted for than 15 minutes in the court.
The reason, is I have the blue piece of paper from the Plumber from last Wednesday who did the annual gas inspection!
I went to the Post Office to post it off!
I popped into see my friend on the way back.
I phoned a Councillor up on the way back home to explain the court letter from the Council.
Back home to unpack all my bargains.
Cup of tea is needed as well.
Quick look into today's newspaper.
Tea time.
Opened a Fortune Cookie...
I wrote 3 blog posts....
Sleep Tea Time.
Now off to bed, hoping tomorrow will be a better day.

At Least It Kept Off For Now!

I dress for women - and I undress for men - Angie Dickinson
Welcome aboard my Wobbly Work Wheel 🎡
Nice big stretch \o/
Heardle Time.
Heardle 60s.
My results:
Now for Brew and Breakfast.
The long thermal vest goes on!
Dressed.
Now to start the week....
I gave hubby a sloppy wet one 💋
As the main road I go down to work is still closed. Severn Trent has a permit until the 11th November!
I go the other way, while I get to the Island, someone in a white van undertake me and the two cars in front, then overtakes everything in front of him while I was going up to the other island.
Turns into another main road, and the same car that nearly lost is back end last week, nearly done it again!
Was so glad to get to work in one piece!
Big Winter coat goes on.
I gets the newspaper.
Now to turn on my lights.
Lights get turned on.
Let's go to work...🍭
Oh dear here we go again!
1:I was in the middle of the road, one Highway Maintence truck wasn't going to stop, I moved over the in road, then he had too!
(He raised his hand when he stopped)
2: Black BMW failed to stop on the otherside when I was halfway across the road, I gave him a BOING, he tooted his horn at me!
3: Two Builder's trucks one after another done the limbo under my stick!
Some had to use their brakes suddenly!
I was glad to finish in one piece!
Then it starts to rain!
(It was supposed to rain until at least 10am!)
I nips into the Co-op.
Then to pick up two magic bags.
I decided as I was the only one in there.
To stop for coffee and a nibble!
I enjoyed marmite on toast!
I said to goodbye afterwards.
Now to go home!
Unwraps the Magic Boxes.
Now to do some housework.
Empties all the bins in the house.
Empties the recycling.
Loads up the dishwasher.
Sweeps all the leaves off the path.
Puts all the clothes away that I washed over the weekend.
Washing machine goes on again!
No soup for lunch.
Lots of salad to eat instead!
Plus a much needed coffee!
There was 70% chance of rain for this afternoon.
It was already raining before I left.
On goes the sexy lumo trousers.
Now for part two.
I went the same way as this morning.
More cars leaving too late to get in the right lane, then try to move me out of the lane!
Glad to get to work!
I put on my lights.
My friends arrive for a little rabbit!
It stopped raining \o/
I said "goodbye" to my friends.
Now to do the afternoon shift.
It is carrying on from this morning.
One old Camper Van driver must have something wrong with his vision, as he didn't see my big stick and I nearly tapped his windscreen!
Not stopping on the otherside of the road doesn't help.
At least the rain kept off!
Home time for me.
On the way home, something was holding up the traffic down the road I was going. As I was going round the island, a blue Mini cut me up, I followed it up the road until it turned off!
As I came off the slip road, I saw what was holding up the traffic up the road, a big big lorry was trying to get around the small road island.
I got home finally!
The leaves on back on the path!
Now for that cup of brew!
Caught up with the news before I started on the meat free Stir Fry.
Yum.
I looked into today's newspaper.
UK No.1 on this day in 1958:
Tommy Edwards - It's All In the Game.
US No.1 on this day in 1981:
Daryl Hall and John Oates - Private Eyes
US No.1 on this day in 1987:
Tiffany - I Think We Are Alone Now
I wrote yesterday's blog post and a bit of today's!
Sleep Tea Time.
By the look of the weather tomorrow,
The sexy lumo trousers will be worn tomorrow again.....🌂
