Singing into 2024

You never know, it could be somebody important - Queen Elizabeth II, to a woman whose mobile rang as they chatted.
Welcome to my 2024!
So much has happened this month.
We had a weekend break to Edinburgh before I went back to work...
We visited the castle...

(Hubby realising we are going home tomorrow!)↓↓↓
I have 21 nutcrackers at the last count ↑↑
We visited a charity shop, I started singing along with the music, a couple who was near me, soon moved away and left the shop. I didn't think my singing was that bad, surely?
Finally found a big Dolls House for the Sindys↓
I have been busy collecting Minions↓
I have resigned from one Councillor job from one Parish Council.
Still got the other Councillor job, just sorting out things to celebrate the 80th Anniversary of D-Day on the 6th June.
Roll on February...
My leap year 13th Birthday 🎈
Out comes the sequins!
The blog will be updated soon....🤞

However some people in the cafe kept talking and someone was using the coffee machine for a takeaway coffee.
We paid for our shopping.
Back home to unpack our shopping.

Wrote yesterday's blog post.
Now to try on tomorrow's outfit for the Rememberance Parade.
Pity it's going to rain tomorrow.
It will be hidden by a rain mac.
I had a hot shower.
Followed by tea.
We watched some James Whale.
Followed by the news and newspaper review.
Sleep Tea time.
Early night.
Busy day tomorrow.

Marilyn French
Welcome aboard my Wobbly Work Wheel 🎡
Rain is forecasted all day.
Looks like I will be living in my sexy lumo trousers all day :)
Heardle time!
Heardle 60s:
My answers:
Breakfast with Brew.
Dressed.
(Thermal vest goes on)
Plus the sexy lumo trousers!
No sign of rain yet!
I gives hubby a sloppy wet one 💋
I go a different way, as there was four way lights on the island yesterday.
Puts Panda hat underneath my winter hat, winter coat goes on.
Goes and get my newspaper.
Fetches my big stick and off to turn on my lights.
Turns on my lights...
Now let's go to work...🍭
I am stood there, and 3 generations of the same family, crosses further up the road, once to drop the daughter at school, and to on the way back!
Some cars are still ignoring my big STOP sign on the otherside of the road.
I am glad for having lots of layers under my big coat, as it is keeping the cold out.
I noticed my late friend's wife goes past me twice in her 72 reg car.
Finished in one piece.
Gets back to Sexy Beast .
Soon as I leave the car park, it rains.
I park further down the road, as I drop off 4 bags for the Charity Shop.
I get a book while I'm in there.
Back home in the pouring rain.
Coffee machine goes on.
Sorts out the washing from the weekend.
Coffee Time.
Carried on with writing more posts of the blog up to lunch time.
Liquid lunch!
Nice and warm lunch!
On goes the sexy lumo trousers!
There was no spaces in the hall car park.
I had to park somewhere else.
The rain is coming down now!
One friend isn't coming for a rabbit until much later.
Out in the rain to get changed.
Winter hat, winter coat, and "waterproof" gloves
& big stick.
Goes and turns on my lights.
Walks back to see my mate who is undercover from the rain.
We have a good rabbit, until I have to go to work.
"See you tomorrow," I said to him.
Off I go in the pouring rain.
It was getting heavier as my shift went on.
Some of the kids from the High School were soaked through.
My "waterproof gloves" are not waterproof!
I had to keep squeezing the water out of them.
One parent didn't have their coat on only an umbrella.
I said to them as I was about to cross them over.
"Your trousers ain't waterproof?"
"It doesn't help I have a hole in my shoe,"They replied.
"Didn't Traffic have a hit with "Hole in my Shoe?"
They didn't find that funny!
Still pouring down with rain.
It didn't help car drivers stopping in the Keep Clear space!
Finally finished in one piece with soggy gloves!
Gets my coat and everything off.
Back home in the rain.
Takes my wet coat, gloves and hat into the hat to dry out for tomorrow.
In need of a cup of brew!
My Nutcracker family is growing↓
I carry on updating the blog.
Hubby comes back and has a large sloppy one 💋
He has pizza.
I have a meat free stir fry.
Now to look into today's newspaper.
