Trying Not To Be A Slave To It!

Happiness: an agreeable sensation arising from contemplating the misery of another. - Ambrose Bierce.
Welcome to my Sunday Love 💓
I goes downstairs to make a much needed Brew.
Hubby takes another covid-19 test....
Negative \o/
Breakfast time...
Nice big hug afterwards.
Dressed.
Time to put on the washing machine.
First coffee of the morning.
Younger son goes off on a motorbike ride with our friend Joe.
Now to tidy up the backgarden.
A pile was forming of stuff that can't be recycled to go down to the local tip.
Now to put something up in the back garden.
My late dad had one back in the 1970s.
Another coffee is needed, as I have a lot of plants to repot.
Younger son came back really happy with his ride on the big motorbike with Joe.
Now for the long 6 hours of gardening.....
Nearly got through 200 litres of compost.
My late dad once said,"Don't be a slave to the garden," Nearly getting there...dad :)
I needed a sit down after all of that!
I had a hot shower once I came in.
A nice roast chicken tea was had by all.
Time to look in the weekend newspaper.
Jan Hammer  is a Czech-American musician, composer, and record producer. He first gained his most visible audience while playing keyboards with the Mahavishnu Orchestra during the early 1970s, as well as his film scores for television and film including "Miami Vice Theme" and "Crockett's Theme", from the 1980s television program Miami Vice. He has continued to work as both a musical performer and producer.
He has composed and produced at least 14 original motion picture soundtracks, the music for 90 episodes of Miami Vice and 20 episodes of the television series Chancer
His compositions have won him several Grammy Awards.
He is 74 years old 🎈
Eddie Cochran  was an American rock and roll musician. Cochran's songs, such as "Twenty Flight Rock", "Summertime Blues", "C'mon Everybody", and "Somethin' Else", captured teenage frustration and desire in the mid-1950s and early 1960s. He experimented with multitrack recording, distortion techniques, and overdubbing even on his earliest singles. He played the guitar, piano, bass, and drums. His image as a sharply dressed and attractive young man with a rebellious attitude epitomized the stance of the 1950s rocker, and in death he achieved iconic status.
He died on this day in 1960 aged 21.
UK No.1 on this day in 1953:

Fame, I Want To Live Forever...

Be careful about reading health books. You may die of a misprint - Mark Twain.
Welcome to my Tuesday Fun 😁
Nice warm hug.
Brew with Breakfast.
Thermal vest goes on,
As well as loads of layers,
&
Winter leggings!
I uncovered Sexy Beast
I gave hubby a sloppy wet 💋 before I left.
There was a slight nip in the air.
Two winter hats and big big gloves went on.
Turned on my lights.
Let's rock 'n' roll 🍭
I had lots of BOINGs to deal with.
Lots of Limbo dancers drivers going under the stick!
Some drivers did actually stop for me!
I survived the morning shift.
I picked up the newspaper on the way back home.
The coffee machine went on.
Unloaded dishwasher.
The soup maker came out.
Filled it up with veggies and stock and on it went.
Tried to get hold of my 🍭 boss to give her the license plate of the Land Rover from yesterday.
In the end I texted her it.
Then I was told, I had to report it myself.
I tried 101 and gave up after 5 minutes.
I need a coffee now.
I gone on with writing the blog from yesterday.
Once finished.
Now to start on the soup I made this morning.
Chicken, Leek and Mushroom Soup.
It still being a bit cloudy.
No need for the big big sunglasses.
It still feels cold.
The 2 winter hats and big big gloves goes back on .
I turn on my lights.
Now for a little rabbit with my friends.
Glad I put on my big big gloves as it was freezing when I took them off!
I said goodbye to my friends.
My boss is coming down this week to see how bad it is.
Still having cars on the otherside failing to stop.
Same man, in the same van failed to stop on the second day running...
At least I survived!
Two more BOINGs happened.
Hometime.
I covered up Sexy Beast.
Much needed brew time.
Then I wrote a report to the Police on what happened yesterday.
All it takes is another car driver doing it and either they hit me or the people I am crossing over the road!
I gave hubby a sloppy wet 💋 when he came home.
It is Veggie tea tonight.
I had↓
It was very good.
Hubby had↓
He liked it as well.
