Now To Turn Back Time!

Anything's possible if you've got enough nerve - JK Rowling
Welcome to my Saturday \o/
I had a bit of a lie-in.
Swelling going down more on the knee.
A bit of early morning sing-a-long↓
Now for brew and hug↓
Breakfast.
Dressed.
While hubby drops off son at his boxing lesson.
I had some nice fabric come to make some skirts with:
I give the kitchen a good clean, put the washing machine on, and load up the dishwasher and put it on.
Hubby is going to attempt to tidy up the dining room.
His trainers have gone.....rip after 3 years of use.
He is so lucky, mine go after 6 months.
Hubby fetched son after his boxing lesson.
I wrote my blog from yesterday.
Coffee time
I wrote out the shopping list for tonight's shopping.
Paul and Barry Ryan were  UK  pop singers.
In 1965 they signed a recording contract with Decca under the name of Paul & Barry Ryan. Within two years they had amassed 8 Top 50 singles in the UK. Their best sellers were "Don't Bring Me Your Heartaches", a number 13 hit in 1965, "I Love Her", a number 17 hit in 1966 and "Have Pity on the Boy", a number 18 hit the same year. However, the stress of public attention caused Paul to retreat into the background, while Barry went solo. Paul Ryan wrote Barry's 1968 hit "Eloise", the 1971 hit "Who Put the Lights Out?" for Dana and another of his songs, "I Will Drink the Wine", was a UK hit single for Frank Sinatra.
Paul sadly died in 1992 aged 44.
Barry is 72 years old today 🎈
Robert Thomas Velline , known professionally as Bobby Vee, was an American singer, songwriter and musician who was a teen idol in the early 1960s and also appeared in films. According to Billboard magazine, he had thirty-eight Hot 100 chart hits, ten of which reached the Top 20. He had six gold singles in his career. He died on this day in 2016 aged 73 years old.
Antoine "Fats" Domino Jr.  was an American pianist and singer-songwriter. One of the pioneers of rock and roll music, Domino sold more than 65 million records. Between 1955 and 1960, he had eleven Top 10 hits. His humility and shyness may be one reason his contribution to the genre has been overlooked.
During his career, Domino had 35 records in the U.S. Billboard Top 40, and five of his pre-1955 records sold more than a million copies, being certified gold. His musical style was based on traditional rhythm and blues, accompanied by saxophones, bass, piano, electric guitar, and drums.
He died on this day in 2017 aged 89.

After a late lunch,
Hubby went food shopping with one of my sons to do the neighbour's food shopping.
Once they came back,
Put the shopping away,
We had tea.
I found more books on Sewing.
The Reader's Digest book on Sewing is really good!
Be soon whipping up new clothes!
(I hope!)
Now to carry on with series 6.

With some sleep tea.
Going to have an extra hour in bed tonight \o/
